My name is Eric and I play drums, piano, make videos and I do what I can to help organize this thing we do. I’ve been working on this with the other guys over the last year and we are very excited to share it with you all, very soon!

I lived in Seattle back in the early 90s and played drums with a few bands. Treepeople, Built to spill, Christ on a Crutch, Elliott Smith and more. As a young active drummer, Seattle was a good place to be back then. I am so grateful to have been there during that time in music history. Yes, the opportunities were amazing! In the spring of 2016 I met Jake Snider, when I moved back from LA to the NW.
MtB was in the middle of recording the record Voids, (I got to play shaker, shells and tambourine! Sweet! So stoked).

Jake and I struck up a great friendship and he has been one of my best friends ever.

A year ago I suggested we book some studio time and gather up some talented players to do a song writing session. Just instrumental music, no lyrics. My thought was to let the listener decide what the music means to them. A sound track to your life, is the simple way of saying it. Thematic instrumental rock music.

Our approach was to just show up, with no rehearsals, hit the record button and play.... yep. 🔥 It was like Ball-Lightning!
We had some song ideas and concepts of what we wanted but what we created turned into something much more then what we ever expected. Joyful and a very pleasant surprise.

Well... actually.... I knew, with that much talent in the same room...? We were bound to make something good. Better then good, it is absolutely fantastic and beyond our wildest dreams! We hope you all enjoy what we have made for you, The fans.

The Jjen has an announcement:
Our brother and fellow bandmate Justin was in involved in an altercation last Sunday evening with a handful of thieves in a small convenience store. Justin tried to intervene during the robbery and he was attempting to assist the store owner in apprehending the thieves. During the altercation Justin had his jaw broken and was severely beaten. Last night (Monday)he had surgery to reconstruct his jaw. He came out of the surgery last night fine and is recovering in the hospital now. Do to hospital COVID-19 rules he is only allowed one visitor a day. I hope to see him soon, we all do.
Justin’s jaw will take months to heal and we hope you will send all of your positive thoughts, kindness and good energy toward him during his hour of need.
The Jjen will be active in helping with his recovery and hospital costs. “Speedy health! our dear friend”!
