🚧 Heads up, NJ commuters! 🚗 I-80 eastbound in Parsippany-Troy Hills will see lane and shoulder closures from 9 am to 3 pm tomorrow for drainage repairs. The Randolph Diner Bar & Grill volunteered to be an additional collection site for Toys for Tots!!!! A large collection box is in their lobby. We have already filled one box in the police department lobby and are working on filling the second. One Randolph resident was kind enough to donate a new bike! We are collecting new toys at both locations until Dec 13th.

Openaki Road is currently closed at Shongum Road in both directions until further notice. This is due to downed powerlines near the Randolph/Denville border.

**Reminder**

This year the Randolph Police Dept PBA Local #403 is participating in the U.S Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The program is to collect new, unwrapped toys for them to be distributed to those less fortunate children during the holidays.

We will have a collection box in the lobby of our police department until Mid-December. Please bring a donation of new, unwrapped toys to our collection box no later than December 13th.

Thank you for your support in this effort to make a child’s holiday brighter!

IMPORTANT PRIVACY UPDATE: If you have an iPhone and have done the recent iOS 17 update, they have set a new feature called NameDrop defaulted to ON. This feature allows the sharing of your photos, contacts and more by bringing two phones close together. To shut this off go to Settings, General, AirDrop, Bringing Devices Together. Change to OFF.

PARENTS: Don’t forget to change these settings after the update on your children’s phones, also, to help keep them safe as well!

All of Officer Richard Mendez killers have been arrested. Great work by Philadelphia Police Department, Philadelphia FOP Lodge #5, US-Marshals, ATF, and all law enforcement involved.

His death has shaken all of us. We hope the commitment by all of us to bring his killers to justice brings some comfort to his family and friends.
