წარმატება/აღმავლობასთან ერთად მარცხიც არის ხოლმე თაიმლაინში.

ხოდა დღეს მინდა გაგიზიაროთ იმ 2 “კრახის” შესახებ რაც წელს ვიგემე (ადგილის სახელებს არ დავასახელებ).

პირველი იყო როცა 60კაცა ჯგუფი მზად იყო გასამოძრავებლად; მე კიდევ ტრაკი/მუხლები მიკანკალებდა, ისე ციოდა გარეთ. მოუმზადებელი ვიყავი ცივი საღამოსთვის🥶

სიცივემ იმოქმედა ჩემს ტვინზე—სიმღერებს ისე კარგად ვერ ვგეგმავდი ადგილზე (რომელი გამეშვა შემდეგი). ამას დაემატა ის რომ დენსფლორი იყო უსწორმასწორო. სეტის ბოლოსკენ ესე 10 კაციღა იდგა ჩემს წინ; თან ცეკვის ტრაკიც არ ქონდათ, ცისტერნაში დანთებულ ცეცხლს იყვნენ მიწებებულები.

მოკლედ, ბუნებამ თავისი გვითხრა. მე კი შემეძლო ცოტა მეტი სიმღერა დამეგეგმა (დაკვრამდე), რომ ყველაფრის და მიუხედავად სეტი მაინც შემდგარიყო.

ეხლა ეგრეც ვაკეთებ, და თუ ვატყობ რომ დაგეგმილი ტრეკი არ ჯდება, მერე იქვე ვცვლი სპონტანურად (უფრო ფრეშია თან ეგრე😎); პლიუს, თან დამაქვს დუბლიონკა და ბათინკები🤓

ეხლა მეორე failი.

ივენთი დავგეგმეთ, ხალხიც ჩაწერილი იყო (წინასწარი გადახდის გარეშე). პლიუს ცეკვის მასწავლებელი მოვიწვიე, რომ ექსტატიკის წინ რამე ახლებურად შევეხურებინეთ.

მოვიდა ივენთის დრო და 1 კაცი მოვიდა მარტო. გამოვშტერდით😶
თან აწყობილი მქონდა უკვე აპარატურა, ready to rock-n-roll..

ეს რის გამო მოხდა დღემდე ვერ დავადგინე. ბევრი მიზეზი შეიძლებოდა ყოფილიყო; თავი გამისკდებოდა მაგაზე ფიქრით ალბად, მაგრამ დავპაუზდი.

იმ მომენტში ძალიან გატეხილში ვიყავი; თან მოწვეული მასწავლებლის მეუხერხულა. ჩემმა გოგომ it’s OKო, ამის შემდეგ სულ მაღლა-და-მაღლაო🤗

მაინც დავუკარი, ცოტა ხნით. დენსფლორზე 5 კაცი ვიყავით: მე, ჩემი გოგო, მასწავლებელი, სტუდიის მენეჯერი, და ის ერთი ტიპი🤘🏻😅

მას შემდეგ ივენთებზე 20 კაცზე ნაკლები არ ყოფილა; და ეხლა ან ჩაიზე/დონაციაზეა დაფუძნებულია ჩვენი ექსტატიკის ღონისძიება, ან წინასწარი გადახდით.

მოკლედ, ყველაგანაა გაკვეთილები, და ყველაფერი შენს სასიკეთოდ მიდის, თუ ამას მიიღებ/+გააცნობიერებ როცა უფსკრულში ჩაეყუდები. მთავარია არ გაჩერდე, უკეთ მოემზადო, და აკეთო ის რაც განიჭებს ბედნიერებას.

ბედნიერება იქმნება ცდით და ძალისხმევით; შინაგანი სამუშაოა და არა ფულით ნაყიდი, თუმცა ფასიანი—ღირს შენს დროდ⚡️

🎶 2018 წელს პირველად დავუკარი ექსტატიკური ცეკვის ღონისძიებაზე, სანტა კრუზის მთებში, კომუნა-რითრიტ ცენტრში🌲 მას შემდეგ არ გავჩერებულვარ (პატარა პაუზების გამოკლებით)..

ვიცოდი რომ ერთ დღეს თბილისში დავუკრავდი, რადგან საქართველოში ამ პრაქტიკის/პროექტის დანერგვა-გაზრდას ვაპირებდი..

2020 წელს ჩამოვედი, და ზემო აჭარაში, გომარდულის რითრიტ ცენტრში დავიწყე დამკვიდრება🪩

2021 წელს პირველი ღონისძიება ჩავატარეთ თბილისში. ცოტა ხალხი მოვიდა. ალბათ სახელი იყო უცხო, თან ფხიზლად ცეკვა ბევრს არ უცდია; ზოგს საერთოდ ეგონა უფასო ექსტაზის აბები დარიგდებოდა🤪 აბები არა მაგრამ ნეტარების განცდა გეუფლება როცა ექსტატიკ დენსის ტალღაში სერფინგს (ცეკვას) დაამუღამებ.

კოლექტიურ ტრანსში შედიხარ ცეკვის დროს; ოღონდ არა ილუზიურ და ავის მომცემ ტრანსში, არამედ პირიქით, დადებითი ენერგიით იმუხტები შენს გარშემო მოცეკვავეებთან ერთად “აქ და ახლა,” და მიგყვება რამოდენიმე ხანი.*
*ნუ რა თქმა უნდა სულ ყველას არ აქვს ერთი და იგივე გამოცდილება. უმეტესად კი ერთი ტალღა იქმნება ხოლმე დენსფლორზე🌸

მოკლედ, შეიქმნა Ecstatic Dance Georgia . ჯერ თვეში ერთხელ ვაკეთებდით ცეკვის შეკრებებს (ივენთებს). მერე უკვე ხალხმა გაიცნო და გემო გაუგო ამ პრაქტიკას, რომელიც დაახლოებით 1.5-2 საათი გრძელდება ხოლმე.
ეხლა თვეში 2 ტარდება (☝️გვერდზე იდება ხოლმე მომავალი თარიღი). წინაზე 40+ ხალხი მოვიდა საცეკვაოდ: for fun, release, healing, connection⚛️

📁If you like to read, here’s my Ecstatic Dance journey/story…

"Have you heard of Ecstatic Dance?" asked a girl named B on an open, green, grassy field as we both arrived there to witness the sunset of the day.

"You can do whatever you want on a dancefloor," she went on, "shake your body like a madman, go-around in circles like a Sufi dancer, laugh out loud, cry even, lay down, [lay down on the dancefloor???], meditate, whatever you feel."

👀I didn't really understand what she was describing to me. How could I feel "at-home" and "dance-like-nobody's-watching" in a room full of strangers?

I wasn't sure, but I was longing for the space to move my body freely, get into trance, let my spirit dance! I didn't enjoy overfilled, overdrugged, sticky-floor, foul-smelly night-clubs anymore (I'm not a fan of alcohol either).

👣So I went to this Ecstatic Dance thing, as per suggestion of B; and this is what I witnessed: people of all shapes, ages, sizes and backgrounds were dancing together without talking, without shoes, and without being drunk on alcohol, in a spacious, perfume-free room. They have gathered together to connect, express, heal, and celebrate their bodies through uninhibited movements.

This was in 2015, when I first arrived in Santa Cruz, California.

✔️Since my first Dance I was hooked right away. Here's why: with a background in traditional Georgian dances, I felt pressure-free to dance, by myself and/or with others; there was no need to perform, get the moves right. In fact, I realized there is NO WRONG WAY TO DANCE!

I found myself following my natural movements, "born" at the moment, during carefully selected, all-genre music-set by the DJ.

🪐What's more, I realized each Dance was a microcosm of and a learning ground for my "outside" life. Whatever I experienced on the dancefloor, was part of me, which either wanted to be sorted out or celebrated, or both.

✔️✔️ During the Dance I got to dissolve my boredom, rekindle my child-like playfulness, practice acceptance, witness my fears, and observe repetitive patterns in my body from a third-person perspective. Also, supported me to find personal boundaries and self-confidence, and reinforced the experience of oneness.

Since 2018, I have taken the DJ’s role—mixing beautiful and powerful tracks to facilitate safe and transformative (dance)spaces.

In 2021, I created Ecstatic Dance Georgia, to share all the benefits I reaped in my birth-country.

Last Saturday I woke up feeling heavy; my body didn’t want to do much, let alone facilitate 3 hour event. Thoughts of canceling the event sneaked in…

On the same morning, at least 5 people messaged me with great enthusiasm that they wished to be a part of that event. My mind lit up 🔥 (others have also reached out before that day).

Even though I wasn’t feeling my 100%, with minor aches and errors, we did the event; in the closing circle people shared their deepest gratitude, that they needed this kind of dance in their lives.🌻

As much as I like to DJ for fun, I love facilitating cathartic, body-mind freedom inducing Ecstatic Dance events.⚡️
