On a recent hike in the Craggy Mountain range of WNC, I encountered a field of wildflowers and butterflies like this one🦋💕- was a beautiful sight!
Did you know there are more than 17,000 species of butterflies in the world? But their lifespan is only about 2-4 weeks long!
Butterflies have an important job to do in their short lives- pollinating flowers and plants, and sharing their unique beauty with us🦋😍

Shortly after this picture was taken, my husband Tim and I, and our 🐶Twixie, got caught in a drenching storm⛈!

But whatever storm of life you are in, if you have put your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you can Stand on Rock Solid Grace!
He will never leave or forsake you- you are Safe in His Grace 💕

When insecurities and doubts threaten to overtake me, I need to be reminded that my life is secure in God’s Hands!

As a believer and follower of Jesus, we can never be snatched from His Hand(John 10:28)- even if we “feel” far away, or have messed up once again…even there Your right hand shall lead me and hold me!!💕

Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

This incredible sunset on Gun Lake, MI reminded me of God’s awesome Glory.

We can encourage each other in small ways every day- a smile, a prayer, a “good job!” , a text, a phone call

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing .”

Be encouraged by God’s Word and then share that Light with someone else today💕😊!

Delight in the simple pleasures of life- a smile, a hug, a beautiful flower, a fluffy dog - God gives us these to enjoy!

Even more, we can delight in God’s Living Word and in His Grace and Truth!

Glory- highest honor, splendor, majesty
Am I living for God’s glory or my own glory?
“Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!” Psalm 115:1

You alone are worthy to receive Glory, Oh Lord!

I needed this reminder to encourage me to keep reading God’s Word each day. Even when, especially when, I feel down or discouraged.

God’s Word is True and Unchanging. My mind benefits from digging into it, speaking it, praying it.

Psalm 119 is a wonderful place to start- the longest chapter in the Bible💕!

How do you answer Jesus’ question?
Consider Martha’s answer:
“Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”(vs.27)
May we boldly proclaim this Good news!

Believing is more than just thinking it - it is putting trust in, confidence in, regarding as true.

What we believe in makes a difference in how we live each day.

Let’s anchor our mind, our belief, on the Way, the Truth, and the Life- Jesus Christ!
He is the Risen Savior💕Amen!

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18

Seeing this beautiful wildflower on a hike today, I am in awe of how God causes these to grow in the middle of brown brush.
I pray that I too may grow in the grace of Jesus no matter where I am “planted”!

Recently I realized my thoughts have been drifting away from God’s Truth about Him and about who I am as His daughter.
But God knows my thoughts(wow!), and wants to renew them !
When I come to Him in prayer each morning, and meditate on His Word, He is faithful to cleanse my thoughts and fill my heart and mind with Truth💕!
“And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!” (Psalm 139:24)

Renew- !
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me”(Psalm 51:10)
Create and Renew are powerful words to pray to the God who created wonders as this waterfall!


When my heart and spirit are cluttered by negative thoughts and attitudes, by discouragement and worry, I try to get away to a place of refreshing to draw near to Jesus in prayer.

No matter where you are today, you can ask God to create in you a clean heart and mind, and restore your spirit💕

Too often my way of thinking is shaped by the world, but God wants to renew and transform my mind! His thoughts and His ways are true, good, and full of mercy and grace💕
Like these daffodils, let’s look to Jesus today!
