Reworked reclaimed vintage towelling. Circular fashion is all about using materials already in existence. Stay individual + sustainable this summer!
Side tie dress. All vintage pieces are one of a kind
Sourcing these rare gems is increasingly hard. I collected this print in other colour-ways over the course of years. So if you love a piece- trust your heart, once it’s gone it won’t be repeated .❤️
As a one-woman show, one of the biggest challenges has been getting these treasures out into the world. But now, the opportunity has come to showcase them at Tuchuzy, and I couldn’t be more excited! ❤️
When you secure an o.r.a.n.a. piece, you’re also investing in sustainable, future vintage. It’s something to cherish, knowing you’re the only one who has it. Encouraging you to Fall in love with your clothes again ❤️❤️❤️❤️

As a one-woman operation, creating these one-off designs is a time-intensive process, and I’ve been overwhelmed by the amazing support and inquiries. So to finally have my collection available in-store at Tuchuzy is a bit of a dream!
You can now experience o.r.a.n.a. firsthand and support a sustainable fashion future!
Did you know the iconic Shell brand got its name from seashells? The founder’s father ran a London antique shop and began importing seashells from the Far East, where they were popular decorations at the time. How ironic that a brand named after the ocean has now become one of the largest producers of fossil fuels.
At o.r.a.n.a., we’re bringing the story full circle—celebrating the ocean while protecting it. 🌍💙 Our Shelly Beach Bag is crafted from rare vintage towelling and adorned with a scallop shell, sustainably sourced from seafood waste. Designed to be cherished, it’s more than just a bag—it’s a souvenir, capturing the nostalgia of summer holidays.
As a brand rooted by the ocean, o.r.a.n.a. is all about creating lasting memories with thoughtful, sustainable design.

It’s Time to Split!
I’m so grateful for all the love on the Scoop shorts, especially the feedback on their fit! With demand growing for the vintage pieces, I’ve decided to split the sets. Each item in this collection is crafted with zero-waste design, created towel on a towel by towel basis. I’ve collected these towels from around the world over time, a lot from the 60s/70s Some smaller pieces become bags, tri tops, visors, or hats, fitting around a set.
The Summer Vintage Shorts have a slightly different cut from the Scoops, with a more relaxed fit. It’s crucial to carefully check the measurements provided—not just the labeled size—as they tend to run a bit larger. For example, Lucy, on the website is a true size 8, and fits into multiple sizes. You might find that you can wear more than one size, so be clear on your preferred fit!
Each pair is truly one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated, so the most critical measurements to check are the hip and thigh—you don’t want these areas to be too tight for comfort when sitting or moving around. I recommend comparing our measurements with a pair of shorts you already own and love. Using a garment as a reference is more reliable than measuring directly on your body, as the size is determined by your widest part.
The tie tops are ONE size, with open sides for a flexible fit. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me, I can try and talk you through, I’m here to help!
Hello to my amazing community—over 3,000 of you now! 🎉 I’m so grateful for your support and wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself and how it all began.
My journey started with a passion for a sustainable fashion future with zero-waste design using vintage towels from the 1960s and 1970s. These textiles are rare treasures, and my goal has always been to preserve them by making sure every scrap is used, honoring their history while creating new, beautiful pieces.
Because these towels are so rare, I introduced my Reclaimed Collection, featuring new old stock towels with the same beloved vintage aesthetic. This allows me to expand while staying true to my roots. Each piece is also sustainably made locally, right here in my home studio, minimising waste and emissions. By focusing on reusing existing materials, I’m committed to the belief that saving on using new materials is the most sustainable choice
This summer, I’m introducing the scarf top, a versatile accessory available in both the vintage and reclaimed collections. Due to the overwhelming response to the Reclaimed Collection the Vintage Collection will be released next month—so stay tuned!
Thank you all for the love and support! 🌈💚🌏

Zero-Waste Upcycled Scrunchies 🌈☀️🌊
Did you know that leftover fabric scraps are one of the biggest contributors to textile waste? Instead of letting them end up in landfills, I’ve transformed them into these beautiful scrunchies!

Happy Monday ☀️ Spring has sprung! It’s 29 degrees today in Byron!! 😊 I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about my journey with o.r.a.n.a. 💫 As many of you might not know, I’m a one-woman show running this entire brand solo! 💪💚
First, I want to apologize to everyone who has sent me messages on Instagram. There were a whole lot of hidden messages I was unaware of, and I’m so sorry for the delay in responding! I appreciate your patience and support more than words can express. 🙏❤️
Now, onto the sizing queries! I know sizing can be a bit tricky, especially since my pieces are made from upcycled towels, which don’t stretch. Even though they have elastic waists, they still need to fit over your cute booties, and size charts can vary so drastically from brand to brand. As o.r.a.n.a is dedicated to zero waste and circular upcycling, I simply don’t have the resources to offer more than 4 sizes at the moment. For now, I’d say they run “small to size,” but they’re super cute oversized anyway 💕✨
I’m excited to announce that I have worked out how to add a size variant on shopify!! Really am solo…😂 so the first run will be available online tonight, and I’m working hard to make another batch over the coming weeks. Thank you all for your continued love and support. I really want to create your all time favourite shorts that you will cherish and wear over and over. Together, we can make fashion kinder to our planet, and your supporting locally made ❤️🌍💚

Thank you for supporting Orana! Embracing sustainable fashion together has been inspiring. I love creating clothes that tell a story, carrying the essence of the past and bringing them into the future. Each piece from the vintage collections is lovingly up-cycled from vintage towels mostly from the 1960s and 70s.
The relaunch of the vintage collection in early October! Featuring the versatile scarf top, inspired by a beloved vintage head scarf of mine that I travelled with on many Euro summers. Wear it as a strapless top, one-shoulder , neck scarf and or head scarf as pictured on. There is not a lot on my website atm as I am concentrating on making new stock and perfecting all the sizing!
However these styles will also be available in the reclaimed collections, (in the retro stripes!!) up cycling from pre existing materials that are New old stock (not vintage) transformed into vintage inspired styles. They are a testament to sustainability. Each garment is crafted to be kind to the environment. Thankyou you for being part of the mission to give textiles a meaningful second life. The scoop shorts with the multi coloured stripes have proved so popular that I will be doing a small batch run probably in RED!? Who wants a red pair?
Vintage Sandy bags! Made from New Old Stock (nos) vintage washers. By choosing to repurpose materials, we reduce waste and give these fabrics a new lease on life, all while creating something beautiful and functional. The sandy bag is not only handmade to last, but also an act of kindness towards our planet. 🌍🌀🐚♻️
