Now at Church Street Stores, Hibaldstow, is a little gem of a children’s Christmas story ‘Zack Goes Back’.
It’s set at Normanby Hall about a boy who goes back in time to Christmas Eve 1830.
Based on true facts about Normanby Hall with factual information at the back. Illustrated and written by me with a drawing of our favourite village bird inside.

Thank you to Alan for my Royal Horseguard soldier. He looks very similar to Robert Sheffield’s toy in my story. Sir Robert Sheffield did grow up to be a Royal Horseguard in real life!
He was actually 6 years old on Christmas Eve 1830.

It is a Christmas book for children inspired by Normanby Hall. It is a fictional story based on true historical facts.
Great for children at KS1 and KS2 age and a fantastic Christmassy resource for schools.
Available on Amazon and soon to be The Rabbit Hole Brigg.
I will hopefully be selling it outside The Rabbit Hole at Brigg Christmas Markets.
