It's official. My sign came in!

Excited to say I'll be participating this year at the Crozet Arts and Crafts festival this weekend Saturday and Sunday. And now I have a real sign to hang for business. Stop by and visit me! It's going to be my first real festival, so really looking forward to it!

Matching his and hers cutting board set. When you and your partner can't decide on which wood you like more. Just get a matching set for the both of you!

True story, had a husband and wife come up to me at the market two weeks ago, and while the wife really liked the cherry board on the left, the husband wanted it in walnut. Two weeks later, the matching set seen here was delivered to them.

The message here... When you just can't decide, buy them both!

Which one do you guys prefer?

Got a new location at the Farmers Market. Always a puzzle figuring out how to place your stuff in a new spot. Especially when you seem to be overflowing a bit.

Anybody looking for a new coffee table? Just finished this one up for a lovely couple I met at the market. Solid walnut top with black steel legs. I have several other coffee table tops already made. Just need a leg design selected if you're interested.

Or..... Crazy idea!!!! They can also be used for a standing desktop. These can easy be attached to a standing desk base turning them into an electronically adjusted desk for those that want to stand a little while they work (...but then get tired legs and actually adjust their desk back down to sitting position after 5 minutes (like I do.))

Come visit me at the IX park Farmers Market this weekend Saturday 8AM to 12PM to see my desk/coffee table options.

I'm very excited to say.... I'm back! After a long hiatus away from the IX Park Farmers market, I will be returning for the first time in 2024! To commemorate it, I thought I'd also make a return to Facebook and Instagram after a long hiatus! Come join me, tomorrow 8am to 12pm at the IX park.

You can see my first boards marked with my new brand and logo pictured here! Let me know what you think.

(Logo secret: while wYw is a good abbreviation for Wes Young Woodworking, wYw is also my monogram.)

This board found a happy home today. Perfect colored table for this board. Dropped it off to a client, and it was a perfect match for their coffee table.

Walnut with copper epoxy.

First day back at the Farmer's Market in a little while. Definitely filled out the tent. Come swing on by the IX Farmer's Market 9am - 1pm today!

It looks like one of those big tins with different flavored popcorn in it, but in reality... This is what happens when you don't empty you shop vac regularly while planing boards. Oops.

No surprise it's all walnut and cherry in there. Two of my favorites.

This is a older project, but we are still using a year later. A nice tv stand I made for the bedroom. Still looks great. All walnut with hairpin legs. Finished with Oldies Oil.

New river table in the works! If your interested let me know. Doesn't have a home yet. 18" x 48” x 2" Walnut with black epoxy river. Perfect for a coffee table or desktop. As I continue to sand this down keep getting more excited. There is some definite curliness to the walnut on this piece. ( Video doesn't do it justice as this is fresh after a 60grit sanding. Working my way up to 220 most likely.)

One of my tables at the Farmer's Market. Been a busy week with epoxy for me.

Just finished these 4 new epoxy pieces last night. They should look fantastic after an oil bath. I'll share the follow ups once finished.

It's going to be a beautiful day at the market today! Come down for a visit at the IX park.

Hoping the rain stays away today!

Hadn't done a zig-zaggy board in a little while. They can be tricky!

Hope to see people at the IX farmers market tomorrow!

2 new epoxy boards finished this week. Great way to give my scrap material new life. Had some people use them as serving boards, and others that like these as wall art. Which would you go for?

Love it when people send me photos of my boards in use! One of my favorite boards, and the plate looks delicious!

Another lovely morning at the market. Nicer weather than we've had in several weeks. Happy to finally have some epoxy pieces out again! Come visit!

This board has some of the most beautiful wood grain I've ever seen. If only I could remember what species it is!?

So nice to finally be back at the IX market. After 2 and a half months of essentially no woodworking, it's great to get back in the swing of things. Come give me a visit!
