It's with utmost sadness and profound shock to learn the passing on of colleague EALA MP from the Republic of Tanzania, Mheshimiwa Dkt. Shogo Mlozi Sedoyeka.

A very selfless, passionate, visionary and ambitious public servant who zealously represented the interests of the people of Tanzania at the East Africa Legislative Assembly.

The EALA family has truly lost an amiable steadfast and a dedicated member who actively participated at the floor of the House; a very vocal, responsive and development-conscious leader.

Mheshimiwa Shogo was a very jovial, friendly, humbled, loving and kindhearted colleague MP full of live.

Her contribution to the committee of Agriculture at the East Africa Legislative Assembly will be fondly remembered.

We pray so that God may give courage & strength to her family, friends, relatives, EALA members and the people of Tanzania during this moments of grief.

May God rest her soul in everlasting peace

"Today, my heart overflows with pride as I watch our last born graduate from nursing school. From Kenya to Fort Dodge, Iowa, the journey has been long, but seeing him achieve this milestone makes every mile worth it. Congratulations, my son, on this incredible achievement! Your dedication and hard work have paid off, and I am so grateful to have been here to witness this momentous occasion. Here's to your bright future in nursing!"

Photos from Hon. Zipporah Kering's post 09/05/2024

A nursing school pinning ceremony is a traditional event that marks the transition from student to professional nurse. During the ceremony, nursing students are presented with a nursing pin, often unique to their school or program.

This pin symbolizes their entry into the nursing profession and serves as a reminder of their commitment to providing compassionate care to patients. I was fortunate to join other parents and friends to witness our last born son Collins Kimutai receiving his nursing pin from Iowa Central Community College in United States.

Congratulations to our amazing son on your nursing school pinning ceremony! Your dedication and hard work have paid off, and I'm happier to witness this milestone.
