🎅🏻 Christmas staff wanted 🎄

Looking for reliable people who are able to work under pressure during the Christmas period selling stock from my dessert van in Luminate Margam Park.

❄️ THIS IS ONLY TEMPORARY OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD, THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY OF A PERMANENT JOB IN FUTURE ❄️

You are required to be patient, polite and kind to the people we serve and teamwork is essential as there will be another person with you all night. Experience handling money and basic numeracy skills are also essential.

Work available during Monday-Sunday between 4-10. You will have allocated days off you won’t be expected to work 7 days a week unless you want you. This will be discussed during the interview process.

If you are a student wanting to have some job experience or just someone looking to make a little extra over the Christmas period to cover the costs of gifts then this is the job for you 👍🏻 work starts 15th November and runs through to 2nd January.

After a couple of days disruption we are pleased to announce we are back open at Parc Slip Nature Reserve & Visitor Centre TODAY. We are open now until 4PM and are open 10AM-4PM Saturday and Sunday too. We are sorry for the inconvenience however it was completely out of our control.

We are serving up some new pieces today that we’re excited for you to try, including new flavour loaf cakes and cookie bars. We welcome your feedback and look forward to providing more products in the future. 🥰

👑 J U B I L E E W E E K E N D 👑

As mentioned yesterday we are hosting in not just one but TWO venues this weekend in light of the platinum jubilee celebrations 👸🏼

Come by and see us at Parc Slip Nature Reserve & Visitor Centre and Margam Country Park serving up lots of sweet treats and traditional British themed desserts in celebration of our majesty’s 70th year of royal service 👏🏻

We are at both venues until 4PM and Margam is hosting the seaside event which is sadly sold out for today. Please take care due to impending traffic due to the in and out festival taking place nearby.

We appreciate everyone bearing with us, we knew this month was going to be tough because of how many commitments we had and we apologise for the ever changing opening times.
But we can’t wait to get back to normal tomorrow in the foyer of the discovery centre and seeing all our regular customers as well as lots of new faces.

Due to upcoming events this weekend we will be closed at Parc Slip Nature Reserve & Visitor Centre today to allow time for us to prepare.

As summer is approaching so are a lot of our pre booked events we agreed to attend prior to our extended stay with Parc Slip. We plan to honour the commitments we made meaning our days at Parc slip will fluctuate more on the weekdays. We should be open regularly on the weekends and will advise if this changes.

We will do our best to keep you updated as much as possible with changes to our timetable in Parc Slip.
