What a great weekend at Arts In The Heart. It was super hot but everyone showed up to have a good time. A huge thank you to everyone that stopped by. Can't wait to do it again next year.
Ready for day two. It's going to be a toasty one.
Wiping down and pricing bowls tonight.
Been awhile since I posted on here. With back to back shows and the heat I've been a little slow. Here was yesterday's turnings.
Friday's turnings.
Walnut and cherry bowls.
Add a touch of nature to your home with our small natural edge pecan bowls, made from pecan wood.
Building back up my inventory of bowls in hopes of getting into Arts In The Heart.
All set up and ready for a wonderful weekend in Athens.
We are all set up and ready for a wonderful weekend.
Finished up these two charcuterie boards yesterday. I'm not sold on the walnut with white epoxy but I love that figure. The other board with black epoxy was made with some scrap pieces from my dining table.
Check out this beautiful figure in this walnut from David Sprinkle. I looks like a topographical map of mountains.
12x5 spalted pecan! I love how this bowl turned out. How do you say pecan? Is it Pee-can, puh-kahn, pee-kahn?
Some small bowls from the past week.
Lots of character going on with this bowl. Not sure the type of wood. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried it would fly apart. I made sure to make light cuts and sharpen often.
This was my first woodworking project 20 years ago but didn't do anything else for 15 years. It's survived 4 moves and the past 3 years in storage.
Slimline pen from an off-cut of my dining table.
Gumballs in white epoxy. Looks pretty cool.
