View from a balcony at very front of the ship. Seemingly sitting still during our sea day on our way back to Miami tomorrow. It’s astonishing how quiet it is right now.

I literally have dozens of ocean sunset pictures on my phone, but I will always stop to take some more. This time there were a few birds flying by the ship and with a little patience, one decided to fly in the shot. So now I have dozens of ocean sunset pics and one with a bird.

Not the best picture but definitely the best things I ate this week…dessert from Extra Virgin, another specialty restaurant included in the fare. Trust me…I ate a lot so I have things to compare this to. The Olive Oil Cake and the Ricotta Bomboloni were so good that I had our Rock Star Agent (IYKYK) bring them to me on the last night of the voyage after having dinner at a different restaurant and skipping out on dessert there. Naughty or nice? Bacon that’s a little sweet & a little spicy or a delicious plant-based “sausage?” Either way has got you covered at Razzle Dazzle, one of several specialty restaurants that is included in your fare. Spent the rest of the day Saturday enjoying Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Had a spectacular view of Happily Ever After from our private fireworks cruise thanks to and our amazing captain, Olivia! Stopped by The Enchanted Rose at the Grand Floridian before heading to a late night dinner at Be Our Guest inside the Beast’s castle! And, btw, the grey stuff is delicious!! 🗝️🏰🎆

Looking back through photos as I plan posts for the new year. These pics were all taken on a family cruise in 2011. The boys were 9 and 6 at the time and there were 17 people traveling together. It was a lot...a lot of fun, a lot of work, a lot of coordinating, but in the midst of all that were these quiet moments that I witnessed and will always treasure.
