Glass Punk
"Glass Punk" is all about people being fanatical on glass packaging recycling, for the benefit of the environment.
For every 1 Kg of glass recycled, 1.2 Kg of the Earth's Resources is saved. Less energy is used in melting and less carbon is emitted.

Becoming a 'Glass Punk' is Easy. Plus, you can have a really positive effect upon saving the environment. Learn more from the posts on this Glass Punk Page.
To be a true ‘Glass Punk’, all you have to do is commit to the following 5-point 'Glass Punk Creed':
1. Strongly prefer to buy whatever food or drink you need in glass packaging. (Rebel with a passion against plastic, tetrapak, metal cans and other forms of food and drinks packaging that are not 100% & infinitely recyclable like glass is".)
2. Never dispose of glass with other waste packaging or other general waste. Instead, put glass containers to one side to recycle in a designated glass recycling collection system (keeping glass segregated from other forms of packaging and waste is the most effective way to assist in recycling any waste material... glass does not mix well for recycling with other waste).
3. Whenever the opportunity arises, let people know that glass packaging is the only packaging material that will have absolutely zero effect on the contents packaged, meaning is the safest form of packaging from that point of view.
4. Whatever you learn about recycling glass and the benefits to the environment in doing so, pass that on to family and friends and encourage them to do the same as you do (invite them to follow this page and learn more about the benefits of recycling glass). In fact, strongly encourage them to be a Glass Punk too.
5. Finally, Like and Share this post and any other posts you see from this Page. Use any other social media you are on to promote and engage others with these posts. Generally be proud to be making a difference to the environment as a 'Glass Punk'.
YOU ARE NOW READY TO BECOME A 'GLASS PUNK', ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DECIDE TO ABIDE BY THOSE 5 RULES AND START MAKING A DIFFERENCE TO THE ENVIRONMENT, RATHER THAN JUST THINKING OR TALKING ABOUT IT. 😀👍
