I appreciate when adults give me good feedbacks about my stories, but when children want to read them over and over again it means the world to me! That's the best thing that can happen to a writer because children can't lie. You can’t force them to love a book.
But none of my stories would have been completed without the illustrations. They play such a huge role in a picture book.

"Ella and the Lost Teddy" it's available for purchase at Bookworms & Co. , and I'm over the moon!
Do you know why? Because I have a special feeling about this place.
Bookworm & Co it's located in St. Andrew's Shopping Center where I did my daughter's photoshoot with the lost teddy. That same photoshoot that inspired me to write the story. So that's where everything started.
Little did I know back then that after two years I'll be standing in this newly opened bookstore, proudly holding my book 🥰
We never know what the future holds for us but we should always trust the Universe 🌌

I'm so excited to announce that starting today "Ella and the Lost Teddy" has a new home. The books are available for purchase at Pine Farms Orchard market, which is my favorite farm in the area. If you never been there, make sure to check it out!

Last year around this time I was walking down the streets of Newmarket Historical Downtown, taking pictures of houses that might inspire Aliona Bereghici Art to do the illustrations for my book. This specific house was one of them. Now every time I see it, I can't just ignore it because I know it's part of "Ella and the Lost Teddy" 💛

Today my daughter took a copy of "Ella and the Lost Teddy" to share with her classmates! Since we're expecting rain for the next few days, I thought this book will be great for storytime! 🌧 📚

In less than 3 months, since the release of "Ella and the Lost Teddy", my book traveled in 10 countries such as Canada, USA, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, and Moldova - my home country. I'm so grateful to know that children around the world can enjoy the story and its beautiful illustrations, and I'm patiently waiting to see what the future holds for this book 🌠

Today's happy moment! I went out with a friend to enjoy a coffee at Metropolis Mercantile + Café and saw my book surrounded by other locally made children's products ❤

Last couple of days I felt overwhelmed by all the things I want to do! Today I woke up to remind myself that I don't need to figure out everything all at once! I can only take one day at time, one step at a time, one page at a time!

It's official! I'm so thrilled to announce the release of my first picture book "Ella and the Lost Teddy"!!!
This is a heartwarming story written in rhymes about a little girl who found a lost teddy, took good care of him but suddenly was faced with a tough decision. To keep the teddy or to take it back to his owner?
Rhyming has a lot of benefits for young readers, it improves their memory, helps children develop listening skills, understand the rhythm of language in a fun way, and provides a memorable and enjoyable reading experience.
Illustrations play a major role in any picture book. They help the reader to connect with the story, provide a different point of view and other details which are not included in the text, they define and develop the characters.
Aliona Bereghici ( Aliona Bereghici Art ) did an amazing job by illustrating this book and I'm unconditionally thankful to her for accepting to work with me! We made a great team, and I hope this is not our last project together!
Now that my books are ready, I start a new chapter of this journey...finding new homes for them!

Hello March! I've been waiting for you!
You will bring so much joy to my life☀️

Retail stores will reopen soon in Ontario, and even if I'm not very obsessed with shopping, I do miss few specific stores. Can't wait to grab a coffee and go to a bookstore to browse around! Maybe I'll find my own book in there! Who knows?!🙃

This is how I feel about knowing that my book was finally sent for production 🤗!!! In about 2 months "Ella and the Lost Teddy" will meet its new readers ❤

Today I picked up my first proof book from Sure Print & Design !
I've been waiting for this day for so long!!!
I can't even write about my feelings right now! It's too overwhelming and I need some time to realize that I'm not dreaming 🙈 ( ), but I'm so glad that I chose this printing company. Supporting a local business during these hard times, getting a great customer service, high quality books with accessible prices was very important for me! We need to make few more adjustments before mass production but this does not affect the joy of holding the book in my hands!!!

One year ago I did a photo session for my daughter about a lost teddy. I was extremely happy how it turned out, and those pictures inspired me to go further and write a little story about it. Who would have thought that I was making the first step towards my first picture book for children.

Today I received the last illustration from Aliona Bereghici Art! Here is a sneak peak! I can't believe how fast the time goes by. It feels like yesterday I was waiting for the first illustration and now they are all done. Beautifully done! Next week I'll see them side by side and very soon the book will be ready for print!
I hope I'm not dreaming! Someone pinch me!

Today I want to introduce you the main character of my story...Ella!
She's a little girl with a big heart, very affectionate and caring, always willing to help ❤
But there is something that makes her sad. She has no one to play with...until one day everything changes!

Oh, Canada, today we celebrate the first day of autumn! Cold and rainy days are coming but don't let them ruin your mood. Get an umbrella and go outside ☔ You never know how the things will turn out 😊

Last year on a cold and rainy day, I was outside doing a photoshoot for my daughter, without realizing that in fact, I was building the base for my first children's book 🤗
