Mooncake festival is over, but the taste of the mooncake will never be forgotten.
This year’s 海天楼’s snow skin mooncake NEW flavour is really a blast!
They introduces the following new flavours:
- peppermint paste with chamomile truffle snowskin
- rose lychee snowskin
- white lotus paste with salted egg yolk snowskin
- hazelnut chocolate with matcha snowskin
I’ve personally tried all of them, and i think the rose lychee is my favorite! The taste is so fragrant and delicious with the scent of rose and the sweetness of lychees! Me and my friends was having it after lunch and we were like “let’s try this abit, i’m already full so i’ll just have a small bite”, but after trying it, i can’t even have a second bite because it’s OOS (out-of-stock) 🥲
Not to mention the others are delicious too, like the peppermint and all.
I’ll definitely buy more next year if they still have this flavour… 😤

The bee hoon is their signature kampung mee siam with a lil bit spicy, but 够味, topped with chives & shredded egg omelette.
There’s also ayam buah keluak paired with spicy tamarind gravy. I was expecting buah keluak to be kinda sour but when it’s paired together with the gravy it definitely says otherwise!
There’s also grilled fish fillet with nyonya spices, udang masak nanas (pineapple prawn soup) cooked in spices and braised nyonya chap chye.
Juicy sausage paired with cheeses, sour dough and mashed potatoes definitely make the day 🥖🧀🥐🥔 🍽

Schweinsripperl, also known as honey-glazer riblets. We were deciding if this will be too much for us, but thank god we ordered. The taste is just sooooo amazing!

Schwarzwaldschinken, also known as black forest ham dough cake is definitely a MUST-TRY. The texture is so crispy and appetizing. Make sure you try it when it’s hot for ultimate eating experience 🥰
Bierbeisser & käse with air-dried pork sausage & emmental cheese.. never thought that such combination can be so perfectly compliments each others. Must try them altogether to bring out the taste to the max 👅
