Did you know that prolonged exposure to your mobile phone can elevate your insulin and blood sugar? This study found that exposure to a mobile phone for more than 15 min a day significantly increased fasting glucose, serum insulin and HOMA scores amongst Albino rats. Elevation of these markers is associated with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome, Alzheimer's disease, and a range of other medical conditions.
