From the She Shed
Upcycled and repurposed furniture
I try not to put too much sentimental value on objects but my mom got my sister and I this book shelf for our room from one of my favourite stores shortly before she passed away in 2005 and it's one of few things I have of hers. I wanted to give it a little revamp and fell in love with this paper and vibe. π
We finished it up today on what would have been her 61st birthday π₯

I've been slow moving on projects lately and at first felt guilty but I'm teaching myself to slow down and do it at a pace that is enjoyable. That is after all what this whole thing is for!
The shed is getting a major clean and organizing today thanks to
We'll tackle them as we get to them but I'm excited for everything we have in here!
π₯The mirror I posted about last week went a very different direction than I planned! We removed all the paint, took off the top piece and torched the frame for a burnt look! Getting hanging hooks tomorrow and then he will be ready to search for a new home!

My second curb side find in less then a week! The upcycling fairies are looking out for me lately! Beyond excited to find this little set about 10 houses down the road! gets full credit for the find. His reward is to not have to do as much sanding as he planned tonight π€£

Made some changes to this one! π¨
We've saved the side magazine holder and I'm thinking it could be turned into a mounted mail holder... π€

Excited to see this guy home sweet home! π
It's starting to look a bit like a storefront over here, and now my wheels are turning βββ
These are the drawer faces of a dresser we picked up. The dresser was in pretty bad shape but we salvaged what we could! Vertical chalkboard signs with key hooks at the bottom! Just waiting for hanging hooks to arrive on Friday and they are all done!
β οΈ I tried to stencil the letters but that is definitely a skill I need to develop! So the letters are free hand if you're wondering why they look... well the way they look π€ͺ

We brought home a dresser a few weeks ago that was in the end not worth refinishing. But we're making use of its parts! Getting the faces of these drawers ready to become chalkboard signs! Stay tuned!

This went in a totally different direction then I had planned but I'm into it! Simple, pretty little side table!

Freshened up this vanity mirror with a light distressed look and added a little detail on the shelves. I wish we had a large entryway because I'd keep it as a hanging foyer shelf but I love this mantle setup too!

Dropped off some Christmas gifts today! I think we'll post one a day for the next few days. π
This has been ready since mid November so she goes first. I'm so excited to get to share it now!
It was a little difficult to see what this table could be at first but what a fun transformation she had!
Enjoy .danielle.p πππ

This table was headed for the dump and when I saw it I immediately saw it as a kids play table. The bench was a marketplace find and they fit perfectly!
All the black surfaces are chalkboard paint. Super fun idea I saw on Pinterest (aren't they all! Lol)
For the life of me I cannot find a second seat that goes so this will either be a one seater or hang around until something else turns up!

Some upcoming projects I can't wait to get my paws on! πΎπ

I love this unintentionally somewhat nautical aesthetic this guy has going onβπ’
I think he would look neat at a cottage or boathouse, or anywhere around the water. We might keep him for ourselves though! He has a twin waiting to be started so they might just be perfect side tables for the spare room! We shall see!

Started sanding this tonight and I'm a little obsessed with how it looks... the wheels are turning!
My house is a mess and I'm definitely not ready for Monday tomorrow but she's done!
I attempted whitewasheing on this little piece we picked up yesterday....well my version of it anyway! Didn't really follow any instructions. I just took what I'm pretty sure I remember from a couple pinterest posts...and here we are! π€·ββοΈ
Early Christmas gift with a few extra goodies! π
