Had a fab time attending miss Christmas Beauty 4 charity pageant on 26th November, in aid of giddos gift. It was wonderful to see everyone and our friends from the north west. I was surprised to hear i had won a trophy for best Christmas outfit of the day, so happy i won this πππ Well done to Linda, Ruby & Erin for hosting a great event, we hope you raised lots for the charity!
Thankfully i didn't have to travel home the same day so i could jump straight in my PJ'sπ lol, due to being really unwell we had to make a weekend of it since im struggling to travel at the moment. However it has been a good thing as both me & mam have really enjoyed seeing all of our north west pageant family. ππ

πCountdown to National Finals π
Day 13 - Yesterday i travelled down to St Anne's, Lytham to our accommodation with my mam & fellow Sapphire Tracey Tait Queen Royal Sapphire UK 2021/2022. Car was packed full to the brim with all our pageant gear π. Our Apartment i booked from Airbnb is absolutely lush!. (ive added a photo of my room)... ...... Now resting for the finals tomorrow because im actually quite unwell.
π
πCountdown to National Finals π
Day 12 - Evening Wear Sneak peak.... ... Again not my usual style so I've gone completely different this year, not 100% confident with my evening but it's all i could get so i have to roll with it ππ
π
πCountdown To Finals π
Day 11 - Fashion Wear sneak peak
Fashion is different for me this year as I'm wearing a colour which is unusual for myself - usually i live in jeans, Black or Navy Blue ππ
π
πCountdown to Finalsπ
Day 9 - My pageant must have is back up outfits for each round. You never know what might happen & to ensure you can still rock the stage have backups π Also, sewing kit, plasters, and Water - keep hydrated!! π
Day 10 - favourite pageant shoe,,, not gonna lie i don't have a favourite π i really struggle finding shoes due to my knee injury so i kinda have just got to go with what i have this year and fingers crossed i don't hurt my knee again ππ
πCountdown to National Finals π
Im a bit behind due to travelling & being unwell so i am doing multiple days for my countdown on the next few posts, ππ
Day 7 - My best pageant tip is to enjoy the experience & don't stress as it will show on stage. Be yourself & Be confident π
Day 8 - i don't have a specific platform as such, i like to support other women with their campaigns & awareness as well as fundraise for local charities and people in need.
πDay 5 - If i won i would be super happy to continue representing royal sapphire uk & continue with the plans i already have to support charities & others fundraising in the next yearπ
πDay 6 - Outside of pageants i love to spend time with my god-daughter & also to visit my best friend & her sons, unfortunately she lives in Bulgaria so its a plane ride for a cuppa βοΈ π π
πDay 3 - fun fact about yourselfπ
To be honest i cant think of anything of the top of my head, so i guess my fun fact is that i love to do karaoke π€, it doesn't matter if you are good or bad at singing, everyone can get up & sing their favourite songs. Life is about enjoying yourself and having fun!
πDay 4 - role model π
I can't answer this question as i don't have a role model. It's something ive never been interested in having, same with celebrities, in my opinion we are all just people. No one is better than anyone else, we are all from the same earth, we are all just given a different set of cards to deal with, some easier than others.
ππDay 2 - your favourite thing about Royal Sapphire UK ππ
I love that being a part of Royal Sapphire UK everyone is friendly and supportive of all of pageant land. I have made friends around the UK & one example is that i travelled miles away from home to an event to support my friends when they hosted their charity pageant.
They are Natural Beauty Queens (so not the same system as myself) and it DOESNT matter WHICH system you're from in my mind, i am friendly & supportive to everyone. xx
ππThe 14 day countdown to our National Finals has begun ! ππ
Day 1 - A photograph of me in my sash.
Because i am the ambassador representing the system, i am lucky to have a fancy sash and a sparkling crown while competing this year ππ¬π§ π
Throughout the past month i have attended charity & fundraising events, however i haven't had much time to update my page as i have also been moving house on short notice, (I've had no Internet for 1 monthπ ), and then also travelled to visit one of my best friends who lives in a different country. So i thought i would post some photographs of the highlights I've had this month representing Royal Sapphire UK as their Ambassador. I enjoyed attending each event and can't wait to meet up with everyone at the national finals in less than 2 weeks πππππ
September is IIH awareness month.
Ideopathic Intracranial Hypertension.
My best friend suffers from IIH badly so i have seen what people with this condition can suffer from. I would love people to join in with this campaign to help spread awareness for the condition. Please repost some of the main important facts about IIH along side wearing something Blue or Green ππ
IIH - Ideopathic Intracranial Hypertension.
It occurs when fluid pressure raises around the brain for no reason. It Can cause debilitating headaches daily and visual loss, which can become permanent blindness.
Some sufferers present signs & symptoms of a brain tumor, despite no tumor being present.
There are many symptoms including: nausea, vomiting & dizziness.
Memory issues.
Severe back & neck pain.
Tinnitus.
The precise medical definition of IIH changes over time as more becomes known about the condition.
Medication can help in some cases, however lumbar punctures & shunt operations can be needed in worse cases.

I am joining in Charlotte Junior Teen Royal Sapphire UK 21/22 awareness campaign.
August is psoriasis awareness month.
It's very important to me as i myself have psoriasis quite badly. It is mainly in my scalp, on my back and can leave marks/scars on my body.
It is NOT contagious.
I got bullied alot at school due to this condition as it has made my skin very sensitive.
Thank you so much to Charlotte for creating a campaign about this topic which is important to me. π
Psoriasis is an uncurable chronic skin disease however it can be helped and treated with creams, light treatment and medication a dermatologist will advice on the best treatments.
Some facts and info from the psoriasis organisation.
August is Psoriasis Awareness Month, and it is a great time to both raise awareness and offer support to those suffering from Psoriasis. Psoriasis is a skin condition that affects about 3% of the population and can cause red, flaky crusty patches of skin. The severity can vary from person to person, and it can have a major impact on quality of life. Psoriasis is not contagious.
People with psoriasis have an increased production of skin cells. Skin cells are normally made and replaced every 3 to 4 weeks, but in psoriasis this process only takes about 3 to 7 days. The resulting build-up of skin cells is what creates the patches associated with psoriasis. Although the process is not fully understood, itβs thought to be related to a problem with the immune system. The immune system is your bodyβs defence against disease and infection, but it attacks healthy skin cells by mistake in people with psoriasis.
Psoriasis can run in families, although the exact role genetics plays in causing psoriasis is unclear. Many peopleβs psoriasis symptoms start or become worse because of a certain event, known as a trigger. Possible triggers of psoriasis include an injury to your skin, throat infections and using certain medicines. The condition is not contagious, so it cannot be spread from person to person.
There are various forms of treatment options available to sufferers of Psoriasis, which should be agreed with your GP. These range from topical creams, systematic, oral and or injected medicines and phototherapy. Phototherapy is the exposure of the skin to UVB (ultraviolet B) light.
Although psoriasis is just a minor irritation for some people, it can significantly impact quality of life for those more severely affected.
On 3rd July i hosted Miss Celestine 2022 along side Tracey Tait Queen Royal Sapphire UK 2021/2022. Due to some last minute travel issues meaning a couple of judges couldn't make it i stood in as a judge. We were over the moon that everyone had a fab day and that we managed to raise a fab amount of Β£560 for our chosen charities The Bradley Lowery foundation and the Sick Children's trust. πππ

On monday 31st may i attended Jennifer's JUBILEE TEA PARTY AT GATEWAY HUB. They managed to raise a great amount of Β£96 in aid of Gateway North east. It was great to see everyone. ππ
On the 23rd may i made a donation of children's toys that were in good quality to St Benedicts charity shop. They will sell the toys on to raise funds for their hospice to help provide vital care for the patients.

During the week i donated a bad of clothes to Variety the Children's Charity. They will be sold to raise money for the charity.
Variety believe every child has a right to live their best life and reach their full potential, whoever they are. They fund and deliver life-changing programs that give disabled and disadvantaged children and young people around the UK a better future.
In the UK, there are more than 1.3 million disabled children and young people, and nearly four million children living in poverty. Variety provides practical help that makes an immediate difference to children and young people aged 18 and under.

Today the 2nd of April is Autism Awarness day.
I am joining Charlotte Junior Teen Royal Sapphire UK 21/22 campaign by wearing blue and sharing some signs and facts to help raise awarness of Autism π
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world.
1 in 100 people are on the autism spectrum and there are around 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK.
Autism awareness and acceptance is important. The more the average person knows about autism, the better it will be for the community.
Younger children may struggle to understand why their peers do not always present the same as them. Their behaviour and communication may be confusing.
Last night i attended a pub quiz hosted by Annabel in aid of Junction 7, at The Steam Machine in Newton Aycliffe. She managed to raise a great amount of Β£81 for the charity. This will be used to provide food & clothing for people in emergency situations which is vital that they receive the help. I took my parents along to make my team up & we all really enjoyed it. Well done Annabel on a great evening & thanks for having us.
Today i attended Miss Spring Queen 2022 hosted by Natasha Beaston. We fundraised for The Christie Cancer Charity (i raised Β£25). I took part in the pageant and had a great day. It was lovely to see pageant friends. I also enjoyed the Spring Theme round as i made a flower head band to go with my outfit.

Do you love fundraising for charity ?
Why not take a look at Royal Sapphire UK and see if our system is something you would want to be apart of.
We are inclusive of all gender's and abilities and you can fundraise for your own charity during your pageant journey with us.
On monday i had the honour of Judging Sherie's Anything Pink photo competition. She was raising money for a tablet for a child to use for homework in Africa. Everyone looked beautiful however the winner i chose was because she had a beautiful smile & her fun personality showed through her photo.
Well done ππ

Here i am holding the Welsh word 'Diolch' which means 'thanks' in English.
Did you know that there is only 28.5% of the Welsh population that are aged 3 & over can speak the language.
This number has gone up slightly in recent years, however it is still not a large percentage.
Why not get yourself joined in Samantha's campaign & we can all learn some more Welsh words. (Contact her for your word.) π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώπ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ
