Imagine two strangers meeting in a city square under Christmas lights and snow, connecting over all the things that make the season so tedious, but finding love in what the holidays bring. It’s one of our favourite songs and stories we’ve ever written and we can’t wait for you to hear our new spin on it.

100+ shows, 2 tours, some fun releases, and having the most INCREDIBLE band - we’re so incredibly grateful for this ride and can’t wait to see where it takes us down the line.

Before the band hits the final chord at every show we play, we end by saying to our audience “…together, with all of you, we are Broadtree!” and we mean that in every way ♥️

Seriously, there aren’t enough posts that could cover who Tim is. From our bassist, to our band leader, to a kickass teacher, to a hilarious comedian, to the best dressed member on stage, to one of the most genuinely amazing people you’ll meet, there’s a good reason Tim is the self-proclaimed sl*t of the Ontario country community.

We asked for a guitarist and got an angel - to be exact 🎸

All we can say about Ángel is he just may be the nicest human being in the world. He’s charming, funny, a killer player, and has the largest pedal board we’ve seen in person, aptly named Pandora as we never know what’s going to come out!

We’re proud to call him a member of Broadtree, but even more lucky to call him a friend ♥️

Meet The Fox & The Fiddle, aka Emily Misura aka Stringing Him Along 🎻

Not only is she an incredible violin player and musician, but her humour, sarcasm, nerdiness, and love for 2000s emo means she fits in perfectly. We can’t even begin to list that amazing things she does - just check her out!!!

If you watched Kidstreet as a child, watched Thomas and the Magic Railroad:, Pet Project, taken a class/seen a show at The Second City Toronto, seen The Yes Men (and SO much more), you’ll know Kevin. Above all else, if you’ve seen Broadtree live this year, you’ll know Kevin. We’re beyond lucky to have him as the heartbeat of our little band of misfits 🥁

Most of you know Andre Besel quite well! 🎸

The biggest hug to everyone that’s voted, that’s listened, that’s requested, that’s played it around the world, that’s added it to their playlists, and has bought an EP, a shirt, a ticket, a pick, or has sent a simple message of love and support - we still can’t believe this ride is real.

From Toronto Ontario, Broadtree is a pop-country duo that has created a unique blend of stylized storytelling over a bed of catchy pop country, with subject matter that often breaks the norms of the genre. The duo openly supports several causes, speaking out about racial equality, Canadian First Nations rights, the LGBTQ+ community, and keeping an open line to anyone wishing to discuss mental health and illness.
In 2022, the they charted twice on the CICC TOP 100, with " Inevitable " reaching number 13 and " You Only Miss Me Cause I'm Gone " peaking at number 14.
In 2023, the duo has charted three songs, "Home Don’t Feel Like Home Anymore" reaching number 2 and, " Meet Me At The Table" becoming their first Number One Song on the CICC TOP 100.
Today we can congratulate them on their second song to hit the Number One Position, in 2023, as heard with Monty, on Coyote 103 today, with "Never Meant to Be" on CICC Chart 187.
