Finally this Sunday, February 5th we'll close our album My Agony with the premiere of his latest song "Mommy Calls You". As many of you already know, we had a pet, a beautiful black kitten named Runa who we loved with all our hearts but who unfortunately died on July 1st of last year, in her memory we made this song with a lot of love and sadness at the same time. Salido a la luz en noviembre y bajo la producción de Deepblast Studios este álbum de Pagan Black Metal sorprende por tanto por la sobriedad de su sonido como por la particularidad de sus composiciones. En poco más de media hora de duración ofrecen disco que navega entre la oscuridad y los ornamentos rituales, y bien podría tenerse en cuenta como uno de los mejores lanzamientos de este año.

👉𝐄𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐣𝐞𝐫, de Under-Midgard:
Un álbum que fue lanzado el 15 de enero apenas comenzado el 2022. Esta vez los chicos de Under Midgard nos entregaron un producto mucho más elaborado que su proyecto anterior, donde ahora ya parece que han encontrado su identidad y han encontrado su fórmula para ganarse su lugar indiscutible dentro de la escena metalera cubana.

👉𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭é𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧é𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚, de Histéresis:
Sin dudas dentro de lo mejor que nos ha traído este año. Ya los chicos de esta joven banda habían dejado muy altas las expectativas con su primer EP, y con el lanzamiento de este álbum no dejaron ningún recelo de todo cuanto lograr como agrupación. Definitivamente esta banda de rock progresivo ha llegado para quedarse y hacer historia, y este disco no ha sido más que la primera victoria de todo el exitoso camino que aún tienen por recorrer.

👉𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, de Eclypse - CUBA, metal moderno:
Con este álbum Nelson Rodríguez y su proyecto reafirman que pretende quedarse como uno de los músicos más originales y vanguardistas que existen en nuestra escena en los últimos tiempos. Su fórmula de rock progresivo y metal experimental no se parece a nada que se haya hecho antes en nuestra isla, y de a poco ya va haciéndose de un público fiel que se ha vuelto amante a cada una de sus propuestas.

👉𝐂𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, de METASTASYS(Oficial):
Los santiagueros de ha cultivado un estilo muy propio con su mezcla de Hardcore, Metalcore y el Groove Metal. Este nuevo álbum, ha sido toda una sensación a nivel internacional y en él se han recopilado diez años de trabajo donde se exteriorizan de manera portentosa sentimientos de hastío y de profunda crítica social. Disco recomendado al 100%.

👉𝐌𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐲, de Inluminus: Controvertido este álbum que causó emociones y sobresaltos incluso antes de su salida oficial. ha sido una invitación a un mundo totalmente nuevo en nuestra escena. Nos han dejado una ópera prima perfectible en algunos aspectos, pero que compositivamente se ha mostrado acertado y ha abierto la puerta al metal gótico sinfónico, un subgénero que había pasado desapercibido en nuestro país y que esperamos que estos chicos sepan aprovechar la oportunidad y explotarla a su favor.

Why is "My Agony" the song that gives our first album its name? Why this image for the cover? First of all we decided that the album would be called "My Agony" because it covers the theme of all its songs 'cause its lyrics are inspired by negative feelings, as well as mythological creatures, personal experiences with a fantastic touch and pagan deities. In addition to the title, we wanted to take advantage of the theme that is developed in this song, dealing with the burning of "witches"
in ancient times, what was an agony for women with certain rare abilities in the society of that historical moment because they were silenced in the aforementioned way. This Friday, November 18, we'll have the honor of releasing this song in conjunction with the official audio of "A witch's story" which, as you know, is the introduction to this song and the story from which "My Agony". We hope you enjoy it and like it.

A long time ago
I lived in a very humble village
I had a normal life:
A large cattle, very fertile land
I lived alone with my cat
I had no husband, no friends
One day a plague attacked the village
People got sick very quickly and died overnight

I had great skill with medicinal herbs and had the cure for this disease
But the ignorant people didn't want a woman to become a life saver and instead of accepting my help they just told that they should pray to God
they blamed me for this misfortune, they demonized my existence, they said that I was the daughter of the devil, and many more lies

They called me "witch"
and they sentenced me to die at the stake
My body was reduced to ashes
But my agony lasted through time
