May all beings be happy and free.
Including me.
May all beings be forgiven for the ways they have harmed others intentionally or unintentionally.
Including me.
May all beings be released from the trauma of their past, from negative thoughts patterns, and from all negative habits, addictions and physical dis-ease.
Including me.
May all beings see clearly, no longer by ego, or fear.
Including me.
May all beings know what it feels like to be loved.
Including me.
May all beings be happy and free.
Including and especially me.
I market myself as a “yoga teacher,” but really I’m a yoga student. I started to practice yoga because I was the one who desperately needed the yoga. I still feel that way. I just did practiced so much and for so long that people asked me how to do it. The funny part is I’ve practiced for so long that so many people in my world now never knew the desperate girl who would do anything to change her life. They just know the girl who does headstands in leotards.
That’s just to say that the end of the day, every teacher, every pastor, every healer has a story for why they do what they do. Most likely because they faced a situation or many where they had to save themselves. And so now they help others in the same situation. Healers aren’t angels. No. Healers are humans who have been to Hell and survived to tell about it. I smile and do my breathing exercises and keep shoulders back and down because I know the exact address of Hell and lived there for many years. I could tell you how to get there. But I’d rather tell you how to get out.
May all beings be happy and free.
Including and especially me.

Join us for the healing discussion tonight after Ashtanga 1/2 Primary Series. I’ll be honest with you guys, I almost canceled tonight’s discussion only planning to do this once a month because attendance has been low, but enough of you reached out to me directly that it’s back on.
I want to hold this space for to all, but you have to show up! If you want me to hold this healing space weekly, make sure to RSVP online so I know you’re coming. Show up for your own transformation, healing, and to receive love from the community.
As always, everyone is welcome to speak your truth! 🗣
There is no cost to attend, but love offerings are always appreciated.
We’re at 132 Walker St #11 in the downtown neighborhood Castleberry Hill .

Why do I teach Ashtanga yoga?
Because it is an instrument of hope and freedom.
So many people tell me they can’t do yoga for one reason or another.
1️⃣First of all, there are 7 other elements to yoga other than the poses most westerners identify with yoga, so everyone can do yoga.
✨personal practices
✨external disciplines
✨breath control
✨meditation
✨concentration
✨sense withdrawal
✨bliss or total peace
2️⃣And secondly, what you can or can’t do starts in the mind. 🧠The body simply follows. If you decide it can’t be done or that others can do something but *you* can’t do it of course, it feels impossible. But once you make up your mind that it can be done, nothing can stop you. 💪🏾
For the month of November, your first Ashtanga class is free. Choose Mysore or 1/2 Primary Series. Click the

Why do I teach Ashtanga yoga?
Because it is profoundly healing for the body, mind, and spirit.
Because after trying the church, fitness, the secular world, therapy, w**d, Buddhist meditation and readings, etc. Ashtanga yoga was the key 🔑 I needed that significantly transformed, healed, and yoked my body, mind, spirit back into union with itself and with the divine and continues to yield fruit every time I practice.
That said, there are many practices that “work” and I wouldn’t be here without all of the parts of my journey.
But Ashtanga yoga has been so profoundly healing for me and for so many people I have taught and witnessed that I want you to try it!
For the month of November, your first Ashtanga class is free! 💚✨ Choose Mysore OR 1/2 Primary Series. Click the

Wishing the Happiest of Birthdays to my Dad! ✨
He passed away a couple of years ago. He lived an amazing, long life into his 80s and was a wonderful Dad to me since I was a baby into adulthood, though he was not my blood. So grateful, but the only bad part of having a great Dad is missing him dearly.
True story…
In February, I was with a friend who was beating an African drum late one night. 🪘 Out of the blue I heard my Dad’s voice *clear as day*
“Christina!!” I immediately started crying. It was him!! “I’m still here!” 😭
He had never been a spiritual person during life and always feared death, so he was laughing at the fact that he was still around and wanted to tell me that he finally understood what my mother was taking about (she’s a pastor) when she talked about life after death. He communicated many very special things to me, and his spirit was on me heavy into the next day. This is the only time something like this has happened to me.
At the time he left this earthly life, I felt very lost and was figuring out so many things. Sometimes I wish he were here to see Liveology and my success. But I remember that he is “still here.”
Happy Birthday, Dad!! I love you very much. He’d be 90 today. ❤️
Congratulations to challenge winner .mind.yogi!!! ✨💛🏆
Did you miss the challenge?? 😱 No worries! 😊We’re doing it again Nov 8-12 and our is rising to the Heart Chakra! 💚💚💚You won’t want to miss it!

UPAVISHTA KONASANA
Freedom can mean so many things. For me, it means freedom in my body. Freedom from physical pain, from mental anguish. I wondered on many occasions if it was worth going on because it felt so uncomfortable to just exist. So the ability to sit or stand, run, and play like a child and put my body in any position without discomfort became the most exciting type of freedom.
If you ever asked yourself, “Why is she so obsessed with yoga??” it’s because pre-Ashtanga I was in a lot of pain (physically and in other ways)... and every morning that I practice it goes away more. To the point that now it’s almost gone. And the more I started to feel not bad, I kept practicing out of curiosity and wonder. How far can I take this?
It turns out, that physical freedom pointed to something else. Freedom from mental limitations... freedom from rules I was living by for one reason or another that I actually don’t have to, freedom from shame and guilt, freedom from all of my “unspeakable things,” freedom from regrets or from wanting to change anything about the past.
The freedom to trust my inner wisdom over everything. 💫
Mysteriously, the most expansive and true form of freedom can grow out of the strong foundation of grounding, consistency, and self-control.
Yoga has given me that freedom to be. And to enjoy being. Everything.
This photo was taken in Sept 2019. Suddenly I’m feeling free enough to post it. 😉
Wishing everyone reading this the freedom to be the most expansive version of yourself without apology. ✌🏽❤️
Arm balance fun with at Trap Yoga.
I actually had a hard time holding side crow UNTIL I started laughing... and then suddenly keeping my legs up felt easy. I think that might be the trick! 😆💫
I spread love because I know what it’s like to not hear “I love you.” Or go without something basic like a hug.
Sometimes, we can go so long without truly feeling loved or cared for, that someone saying they love us sounds foreign or even fake. Out of fear, we assume the person offering us “love” is lying or wants something from us. So we put our guard up or create a (not very convincing) reason push their love away.
Many of us live in a loveless way. We may have fun with friends, or do activities we like, but there is no love there. Respect, maybe. Good times, always. But love?
I’m not seeing a lot of it. Division is everywhere. Anger... Fear... But love?
So I’ll keep offering it up.
Love you guys!! ❤️
