A young man in Gombe state who is a barber has decided to run free haircuts for the residents of Gombe state in solidarity and support for the presidential Aspiration of Peter Obi in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.

KOGI STATE GOVERNOR SHUTS DOWN ALL BROTHELS IN KOGI STATE.

The Governor of Kogi State,Yahaya Bello has instructed immediate shutdown of all Brothels in the state, citing that it is one of the major hideouts of criminal elements fueling the rising insurgencies in the state and nation at large.

The Rivers state Governor Barr. Nyesom Wike who has been aggrieved with the party over irregularities have finally made his conditions for reconciliation known to the party.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities have extended the lingering ongoing strike for another four(4) weeks.Reasons being to avail enough time for the federal government to meet the demands facing the Nigeria tertiary institutions.

The factions of the ruling All Progressive Congress,APC had a reconciliation meeting in Ikwuano on Saturday which was successful.
This progress was announced in a communique by the former speaker of the state house of assembly,chief Martins Azubuike.
The Governorship candidate Chief ikechi Emenike said he will save the state from bad governance when elected governor that Abia has suffered enough in the hands of selfish leaders.
He urged all aggrieved members of the party to put their grievances aside and work for the interest of the party to victory in 2023.

The Lagos state police commissioner,Abiodun Alabi has reported lynching of a s*x worker by name Hannah Saliu whose customer allegedly connived with friends to eliminate her.
It was reported that the customer paid Hannah N1000 after service,on his exit from the room,Hannah discovered her N5000 was missing and raised alarm.
The customer instructed his friends to go into the room and search for the money.in the process of the search,they discovered a Quran under Hannah's pillow and were infuriated why hannah would have a Quran with the kind of lifestyle she lives.That was how they pounced on her and beat her to death and set her body ablaze.

SOUTH EAST DEMANDS FOR VICE PRESIDENTIAL SLOT OF THE PDP.

The major opposition party's failure to cede the presidential slot to the south east has left the south east with no other option but the VP slot.
Recall,that Former Governor of Anambra state,Peter Obi who was a former running mate with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar defected to the Labour party as their presidential candidate with increased popularity.
It is feared that PDP may loose stronghold of the region in the forthcoming election.
In 2019,PDP got over 1.6 million votes from the region against 403,000 got by the ruling APC.

EBONYI WILL NEVER BE BIAFRA--UMAHI

The Governor of Ebonyi state and presidential aspirant of the ruling All progressive Congress APC,Engr David Umahi has expressed displeasure on how other allegedly Biafran delegates jeopardized the emergence of Igbo as president of the country.
He said,"He who sells his brother,even the buyer can't trust him."
This was as a result of poor delegates turnout on his presidential primaries where igbo delegates sold their votes to other regions instead.
He said Ebonyi will not be part of Biafra since they are not recognized by south east delegates as being eligible to represent them at the presidency.

FG MEETS ASUU,SSANU AND NASU OVER LINGERING STRIKE.

The federal Government is set to meet with ASUU,SSANU and NASU on monday(today) to renegotiate the 2009 agreement which has been a bone of contention ridiculing our educational progress.
Recall that the last time,the meeting ended in futility.
Academic Staff Union of Universities will be meeting today with federal Government while Senior staff Association of Nigerian universities,SSANU and Non Academic staff of universities will have their own meeting with federal Government on friday.

The ruling All Progressive Congress,APC may likely unveil its Flagbearer's running mate on Wednesday after due consultations with party stakeholders on tuesday.
The running mate is expected to emerge from the North east where bloc votes domicile.
Some Governors who are eligible for the office are kebbi state Governor,Atiku Bagudu,Former Governor of Borno State,Kashim Shettima,plateau state governor,Simon Lalong and Kano state Governor,Addullahi Ganduje.
It was also learnt that Senate presidential slot will be zoned to the South east while speaker house of representatives will be zoned to the North west.

Nigerian singer and songwriter Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W has won the PDP house of representatives ticket for Eti-osa federal constituency.
Recall that he won his opposition Aibon with over 25 votes in the previously conducted election but his opposition went ahead to declare Himself winner which led to a re-run.
In the re-run,Banky W got 24 votes while his opposition got only 3 votes.

It was gathered on Monday that the National chairman of the ruling All progressive Congress Sen Abdulahi Adamu presented the senate president Ahmed Lawan as the consensus candidate after due consultation with the president which was contrary to the stands of other Northern governors and some members of the National working committee who agreed power should shift to the south.
The National Organising secretary of the party,Suleman Argungu has publicly announced that Sen Ahmed Lawan was never their consensus candidate.He said Adamu is entitled to his own opinion of a consensus candidate but APC as a party or the presidency never in anyway endorsed Sen Ahmed lawan as a consensus candidate.

Barely a week after the kidnap of the prelate of Methodist church Nigeria in Abia state by gunmen which the prelate identified as fulani youths comes a disastrous attack on Saint francis catholic church in Owo in Ondo where Governor Rotimi Akeredolu hails from.
An eye witness said the gunmen disguised as worshipers before releasing a improvised explosive amidst congregants before shooting sporadically.
The casualties of the attack were mostly children and women.
Federal medical centre,owo and st francis hospital have confirmed over 35 people dead already while investigations are still ongoing on new death tolls.

Ahmed Idris was arrested by EFCC for serial financial crimes to a worth of N84bn,this led to his suspension by minister of finance,budget and National planning,Zainab Ahmed to allow him face his investigations.

Tinubu Narrated how he has helped make people Governors in other states including Oyo aside from Lagos state.
He said this is not the time for consensus candidate from presidency,he should give all a level playing ground on Monday when the party primaries will hold.

Many may be wondering why all aspirants stepped down under d***x for someone who has no political experience to take the lead in Guber race.
Many may be thinking how possible was the incumbent Governor Okezie ikpeazu able to Install a successor unopposed in the presence of strong PDP stakeholders like Engr Chinedum Orji and his Father Theodore A. Orji.
The truth behind this whole political puzzle was just to install someone who would hold power for 8 years and return it to Abia central when Engr Chinedum orji must have finished his 8 years in office at the house of reps and ascend power as the Governor of the state in 2030.
Abia North has been played believe it or not.Abia North will not see power till after 16 years if at all they will.
This is the reason why Zoning was compromised.
How we vote in 2023 will determine equity and justice in this our dear state.

The Rivers state governor Barr Nyesom Wike was on a visit to Abuja recently since after the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the presidential flag bearer of the major opposition party,PDP.
The chairman of the board of trustees of PDP are shopping for a running mate for the party from the south and Governor Wike was pleased to hear that with smiles written all over his face.
Remember in 2019,when Alhaji Abubakar was also the flag bearer of the party he also had the former Anambra state Governor,Peter Obi as his running mate who has eventually defected to Labour Party.
Alhaji Atiku was happy seeing Agrieved Wike smile again after the outcome of the party's primaries.

The recent killing of a lawmaker by name Dr Okechukwu okoye,popularly known as "Okey di Okay" representing Aguatta II in the state house of assembly who was gruesomely murdered by yet to be identified assailants has invoked panic in every corner of Anambra state.
Recall,the lawmaker was beheaded and his campaign aide and their heads were hung on Chisco park with a written note,"politicians withdraw military from biafra land or you will be next."
