Deborah’s Place Indy

One thing I KNOW for sure is….dreams do really come true! On yesterday, another entity of my nonprofit-Deborah’s Place Transitional Housing for Battered Women was birth! A couple of hundreds of people came out in the middle of the morning to celebrate the grand opening. We had representatives from all type of nonprofit organizations, councilmen, councilwomen, pastors, state representatives, senator, different universities, local businesses, sheriff departments, family and friends to be present! I have MANY people to thank, however, so that I won’t get in trouble for not calling someone’s name, let me say THANK YOU! Thank you to anyone who has ever supported Deborah’s Place and anyone of its entities! I’m still going through emails and texts! And by the way, everyone needs a Jennifer in their life❤️I was once a battered woman. However, God has allowed me to turn my tragedy into a triumph! Now I get to help and undergird women who want to be FREE and start their lives over!If a woman who is in a battered situation wants to really turn her life around, Deborah’s Place Transitional Housing is HERE to HELP you! You can literally come with the clothes on your back and start over for absolutely FREE😭🙌🏾….Women can come to fully furnished brand new apartments to start over!!! Yesterday was a FULL day! I cried and wept nearly all day! Because I KNOW that this is not of my own doing—This IS The Lord’s doing! And it’s marvelous in our eyes!!!

Yesterday was incredibly busy—BUT, productive!
I delivered the commencement speech for the women graduates of the Nasdaq Women Entrepreneur Center…..from there, the signing up of 4 brand new community partnerships with my nonprofit Deborah’s Place.

Big shout and THANK YOU to Butler University for sending us these amazing interns to help out and learn some of what my nonprofit does to support and undergird the underrepresented communities of the Greater Indianapolis area and abroad♥️

…………DREAMS really do come TRUE😭🙌🏾

Don’t know “who” the women are that will stay in our transitional housing, BUT they are VERY SPECIAL to God♥️…….He’s prepared a place where women who have been abused and battered can HEAL😭😭😭😭🙌🏾🙌🏾

Deborah’s Place provides internships for high schools, universities, corporations, and nonviolent ex-offenders re-entering society❤️

Deborah’s Place….we’re here to serve the community.

My organization is in partnership with them. They donate SEMI-truck loads of food monthly to my nonprofit. We then are able to service other nonprofit organizations, churches, and other municipalities that serve the underprivileged and underrepresented communities.
