The Dad Who Knows Nothing
This is my new podcast page - join me on my journey to learn more from others to help me as I know nothing!
This week I had the privilege of speaking with Myles Wakeham, as we discuss achieving financial independence and sustainability. Myles shares a typical set of steadfast perspectives on life and how to overcome terrible points. The goal of the financial aspect is to reach the point where income surpasses expenses to become financially sustainable. But you need to start down that road to arrive. So, Myles's advice is to go out there and give it a shot.
Here's a breakdown of what to expect in this episode:
• Growing up in a "free-range" lifestyle.
• Borders are not natural. They're artificial.
• What are the opportunities that you can start building?
• Life is a struggle. Some cultures are better at dealing with effort than we are.
• The difference between investing and speculating
• And so much more!
About Myles:
beUnconstrained.com is the story of Myles Wakeham, a contrarian, an immigrant, and someone who questioned the social mantra from childhood. His stories, his discoveries, and results are fascinating. Myles has no job, is financially independent, lives in multiple countries, and pursues opportunities, projects, and passion throughout the globe. If you want to learn how contrarians think and live like this, read Myles' Philosophy, listen to Myles' podcast and read his articles, and learn how to become genuinely unconstrained.

What if you had the tools or the playbook to accurately analyze, assess, predict and manage the behaviors and characteristics of groups and individuals? Think of what that would mean for you as person? As a leader?
Have you ever heard of ? It is a philosophic system based on the fact that many phenomena related to Human Beings occur in a sequence of seven levels - in fact the word Septemic literally means 'of or pertaining to, seven'.
Septemics is founded on the belief that the entire spectrum of human experience exists along 35 scales - of which there are seven levels to each scale - pinpointing the exact characteristics of human behavior at those levels.
I spoke with the inventor of Septemics - Jim Marshall - who has over 50,000 hours devoted to the study and practice of multiple dimensions of human development. He has extensive experience as a Human Development Engineer. It was one of the most interesting conversations I have ever had.
See more about him here: http://septemics.com/about/
He literally wrote the book on Septemics - entitled "Septemics: Hierarchies of Human Phenomena - Analysis, Prediction & Management of Human Affairs".
See the book here at http://septemics.com
How do you O.P.E.N. up possibilities in your life? How do you take advantage of opportunities that may present themselves? I had the privilege of speaking with Robert Raymond Riopel (pronounced Real-Pell, although I mispronounced it in my intro!), an international best-selling author, App Designer, Entrepreneur and Trainer who has traveled the world for over 18 years sharing his passion - which is unlocking the clues to success. Robert achieved financial freedom at 32 and wants to use his energy and heartfelt style to inspire others to tap into their greatness. His book is entitled "Success Left a Clue"!
How would you like to fast-track and ACE your path to success? How would you like to expand and extend your influence and authority?
I had the privilege of talking with Tracy Wilson, #1 Best Selling Author of "The She Myth" and author of "The Freedom Seekhers Journal" and "The Legacy Builders Playbook". She is also the co-owner and co-founder of Metadigm Digital - a broadcasting network and agency for Entrepreneurs. She is also a wife, mother and grandmother and she is OBSESSED about business.
She helps her clients multiply their reach in order to increase their influence and their authority. Tracy has been there and has done that - so her insights were pretty powerful.
"Planning is the gift from our past self to our future self" - was just one of the gems around planning that my guest this week, .co (Mia Moran), delivered on our podcast.
Mia is a mom of three teenagers, entrepreneur and coach, who also makes time for family, wellness and joy — and she hopes to empower 1 million moms to feel a deep sense of balance and ease.
She is the host of the PlanSimple podcast, bestselling author of PlanSimple Meals, and creator of the FLOW Planning Method and Planner, and FLOW365, a year-long program designed to help women lean into their life for a year, making choices and change one 90-day season at a time.
Do you want your leadership to be bulletproof? Ready to withstand any challenge?
In this week's episode, I speak with Charles Matheus, who came from humble beginnings to become an outdoor leader leading wilderness and hiking expeditions in places like the Grand Canyon, Wyoming and Costa Rica. That experience allowed him to discover his Bulletproof Leadership skills. He now mentors teams for Fortune 500 companies and coaches small business owners and entrepreneurs to improve their Leadership skills.
Make it rain! This expression is common, but do you have what it takes to be "The Rainmaker" for your business? I sit down with the man in South Africa - Di Di "The Rainmaker" Hoffman to talk about this important business skillset.
What is a "Rainmaker" in business?
Is this skillset something you are born with?
I talk with Di Di "The Rainmaker" Hoffman - an entrepreneur in South Africa who made his business selling medicinal herbs and providing training regarding their use. Did you know there are over 2,000 medicinal herbs in South Africa and the competition in that industry is fierce? This required Di Di to focus on becoming "The Rainmaker" - focusing on relationships which leads to more business. (Link in bio)
Have you ever heard of NLP - Neuro-Linguistic Programming?
We all have mapping that has been created in our minds, through experiences that occurred, some from way back in childhood. This mapping can create negative behaviors in our adult lives, almost imperceptibly. Our brains are the greatest supercomputer ever created, and just like with a computer, we can re-program our brains to change those ingrained perceptions, ideas, and limitations that may be putting a limit on your ability to achieve the best life you can live.
I spoke with Adrian Moreno, co-creator of the Neuro-Remapping Method, about how to reverse engineer your thoughts and mindset for massive success.
What if you could ‘melt’ away stiff areas of your body, make them more flexible, reduce or eliminate chronic pain and erase the signs of aging, all in ten minutes per day?
Sue Hitzmann, author of New York Times bestselling book “The Melt Method” and a nationally recognized educator, exercise physiologist and founding member of the Fascial Research Society, joins us to talk about the importance of taking care of your fascia, the connective tissue that supports your joints and muscles throughout your entire body.
She has appeared on the Dr. Oz Show, Nightline, Good Morning America and Live with Regis & Kelly and The Melt Method has been featured in magazines such as SELF, More and Prevention.
What if you were a top-notch communicator? What if you were skilled at always communicating effectively - both in business and in your personal life? How much better would your life be?
On today's podcast, we talk with Brenden Kumarasamy, the founder of MasterTalk, a channel on YouTube dedicated to helping you be a better communicator. Listen wherever you get your podcasts or at the link in my profile.
Happy Friday! On this week's episode of "The Dad Who Knows Nothing" I had the privilege to talk to Matt Bailey of SiteLogic Marketing, who teaches Digital Marketing to some of the world's biggest brands and prestigious universities. He has worked with Microsoft, Google and Disney, just to name a few of his training clients.
We talked about Digital Strategy & Literacy - from a business perspective and Parent's perspective, including what is the first thing Matt would do if he were starting a business in today's connected and digital world.

This is not the opening line to a joke – but rather the first three guests on my new podcast that I have started as a fun side hobby.
The podcast is “The Dad Who Knows Nothing” – which I could not think of a better way to describe who I am and my approach to learning. I recently embarked on a year-long personal improvement journey to be better - physically, mentally, and emotionally. One of the paths this journey has taken me to is to embrace learning in all forms. As many have said, a setback is only a failure if you don’t learn.
I love to learn and there are so many experts out there that know so much more than me about all kinds of subjects. I want to learn from these people. I am fascinated by their journeys to their chosen skill or profession. James Thurber once said, “It is better to know some of the questions than all of the answers”, so I started this podcast to hopefully ask the right questions. I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me, and I would love for you to be a part of it.
So, if this resonates with you, press play wherever you get your podcasts. Or better yet, contact me and let’s have a conversation about that skill or profession that you are an expert in – because I want to learn from you!
