We are thrilled to announce that the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History will honor Susan Tedeschi with the James Smithson Bicentennial medal! The medal recognizes Susan’s contributions to the American experience through music and the culture-changing impact she has made to the American sound. She will be added to an incredible list of previous recipients including Pete Seeger, Betty Carter, Les Paul, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz and Dave Brubeck. There will be a medal ceremony in D.C. on December 8th where she will be honored along with Gloria and Emilio Estefan and Dave Grohl.
I wrote this song Catch the Rain many years ago but it's still one of my favorites!
