Op 6 oktober gaan we niet alleen los in de grote zaal van Luxor Live, maar we stijgen ook naar nieuwe hoogtes in de bovenzaal. Daar wordt de boel flink aangewakkerd door de ontembare kracht van Collective RIOT!

Leading ladies van de Noord-Nederlandse techno scene, Selene en Carmen Lisa, zijn de drijvende kracht achter RIOT. In 2019 kruisten ze elkaars paden en ontdekten ze hun gedeelde passie voor elektronische muziek én de kracht van vrouwen in de techno scene. In een tijd waar vrouwelijke dj's en -producers nog erg zeldzaam waren, besloten ze om niet langer aan de zijlijn te staan. Ze creëerden RIOT: een platform dat kansen biedt aan vrouwelijk talent, een gevoel van eenheid biedt en samenwerkingen laat bloeien. Ze organiseren hun eigen evenementen, hosten stages op festivals en organiseren radioshows met een all-female line-up. RIOT viert de kracht van vrouwen in de elektronische muziekscene!

Dit collectief heeft al menig hart veroverd met hun essentiële, vernieuwende visie op de hedendaagse muziekscene. Mis onze aankomende editie niet, waar RIOT de bovenzaal overneemt met Carmen Lisa, Selene en Sole Dosi. Ervaar de krachtige sound en inspirerende boodschap van RIOT, haal nu je tickets!

She is an Amsterdam based DJ from South-Korea. Her sound can be described as a combination of dark, Hypnotic roiling up tempo beats with spaced out melodic lines.
Hypnotizing the audience with sound and never letting the dancing stop is her musical motto. She wants to deliver her audience a feeling of inner strength, but to also give them a sense of inspiration ❤️‍🔥

Next up is Tilburg based and resident ._ from 22.00 till 23.00. She is playing for about 3 years now and is still evolving her sound each time she has been behind the decks. With her hypnotic deep and rolling sounds she makes sure the crowd to immerse themselves in. We love her energy and can't wait to hear it. 💜

Being an active member in the Amsterdam scene for quite some time now, Hazeing really lost her heart to techno and started playing herself. Deep rolling techno, with heavy baselines, fast electro and hypnotic beats is what describes her style best. But she does not restrict herself to techno, she also blends in other genres like electro, breaks and ghetto to take her listeners on a musical journey with the intention to make you smile and bounce.

Gysèle, also born and raised in Amsterdam, is a vinyl dj and producer that loves to spin a diverse range of music, but her deepest love is the early 90's Rave sound. Uplifting and groovy tunes with a high BPM. She started her electronic music journey with Early Rave parties in 2003 and was hooked on the sound eversince.

Today we will be hosting .radio again starting off with .music till 22.00.

She will be playing italo/synthwave/retrowave/electro (maybe let's not put a label on it), shortly, electronic music with lots of synths, energetic melodies and here and there some old school vocals, which will make you feel like you're in a video game or a science fiction movie.

will take over till 23.00. She was always a fan of electronic music and the sound of retro and vintage synthesizers. Especially after listening to such pioneers as Space- Magic Fly and the italo-disco inspired pop German band Modern Talking and Soviet synth pop bands like Laskovyi Mai, during my childhood. So the distinct sound of italo wasn't strange for her. After that, as a teenager, She discovered the electroclash genre, which to me, has a somewhat similar synth sound. ‘The rising popularity of italo sound nowadays is very interesting for me to watch, it brings up the memories from my youth and makes me rediscover these songs again’.

OZUM, Turkish-born DJ and producer based in Nijmegen. High-energy, rave-influenced sets with an hypnotic, emotional touch that allows for a deeper connection with the crowd. Her sound is fluid, resulting in sets that range in style and feel from techno to electro to trance.
Since moving to the Netherlands, her passion for electronic music has grown rapidly to the point of producing her own sounds and DJing. Since then she has been behind the decks at Planet Rose, Blanco, Drift Festival and many others. Currently, she is a resident of Open Source Radio, the event series Blanco and the Impuls label. She has already released her own tracks on the Berlin-based label DURCH and the Nijmegen based label Impuls.

Selene is a techno enthusiast and DJ from Groningen, who has been making a name for herself in the Dutch scene for the past three years. She is a broad-minded and strong soul with love for the raw and uptempo side of techno music. Her sound is characterized as energetic but trippy, with a lot of groovy rhythms and some vocals to create an overall vivacious feeling. Besides DJing, she is

Carmen Lisa is a female Techno DJ based in Leeuwarden. She knows how to pleasure the audience with the music she loves. “Giving and getting positive energy while I’m playing, makes me even better while I’m performing.” She knows well how to make a fusion of melodic, acid, hard but still clean Techno.

Nina de Koning
By not conforming to any standards, Amsterdam based DJ and producer Nina de Koning, is rapidly making a name for herself. While mixing a wide variety of genres she blends them into her own dark exhilarating techno sound.

Selene is a house and techno DJ from Groningen. The resident of 420 Soundsystem already took great spots in a short amount of time within the techno scene. “My peergroup and our soundsystem is grew from the love for house and techno. When I listen to this music I get very happy and a lot of energy. I try to bring this feeling to the audience when I’m playing!”
Selene loves to play dark and hard techno with a melodic sound.
