Sarah Bernhardt
Sarah Bernhardt was regarded as the greatest French actress of the later 19th century. Thanks to her mother's boyfriend, a duke, she was accepted by Comédie
She was brought up by a courtesan mother who arranged for Sarah to attend the Paris Conservatoire.
Je t'aime pour toujours, Sarah Bernhardt.

Visiting my idol, reminding my soul to be strong like Sarah Bernhardt, these trying times call us all to embody her bold attitude in the face of devastation. Uncontrollably sobbed upon finding her in the cemetery. She’s wanted me to come visit ever since I discovered her in college. Love you, Sarah. There’s only one of you in all time and I’m forever grateful you existed. 💚
Visiting Sarah Bernhardt’s tomb in Paris in June. Any recommendations? This is a lifelong dream of mine finally coming true. 💚
Happy Birthday, Sarah Bernhardt!!!
Love you, Sarah Bernhardt!
Sarah Bernhardt would be one of the first people to the theatre to help. She created a war time hospital at her theatre and always helped her people. I know she is sending her love down to Paris now and I am too.
I miraculously found the 1964 book Madame Sarah! 100 pages in and I am in love with this woman. Maybe my life goal is to tell the world about Sarah Bernhardt. She needs to be rejuvenated into the minds of all artists- no matter what disciplines.
I wish I could find her 600 page memoir biography she wrote that was from 1907 I believe. Found it in a magical discovery alone in my old universities' library, but had to return it afterwards.

Waving to people on her farewell American tour.
I love the old time dresses. Definitely not as beautuful as Sarah Bernhardt's costumes though.
She was eccentric. She had a coffin made just for her before she died and used it to get into character for certain roles.
Be all you are and they will remember you forever.

I still am so fascinated by her. What if I knew her in a previous life?
Her final depart in Paris in 1923.
