Veda has been spending a lot of time with her mother. But she still offered to help today for our monthly gig with . Instead of cooking in our own homes like we normally do, during covid we’ve been working with local restaurants. Tonight, we were so thrilled with the food prepared by - It was delicious, wholesome, and everybody loved it. Oh, and the tater tots they gave us as a parting gift were ridiculous. Can’t wait to be spending some time there fueling up this summer. And thank you for all you do to keep people fed with dignity. 💚💚💚

We have a hard rule: no holiday music during the non-holiday time. But now, all rules are out. If it makes you stop in your kitchen and sway like it’s the holly jolly time, well okay! No guilt. This is the last song we play on Christmas Eve when we close the store. It is on a birthday playlist .actually.bella made me, and it took me back to that space, and the good kind of exhaustion from doing your best and feeling a part of something. As we enter at least another month of our new normal, we needed to evaluate what was working, what was sustainable, and what contributes to our community. We have been so grateful for the orders that have come from far and wide - they have made us feel less alone and more purposeful. We are, however, challenged with a very basic fact: shipping is expensive. We are not Amazon. And puzzles are big. 😊 Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer free shipping any longer. We do look for the most affordable way to ship, and will continue making adjustments as we can. Curbside pick up remains the most cost effective, and it is contact free. 🤚🏼 We’re adding more to the website, and are being even more proactive about keeping the store a clean and safe place for our team. Thanks for caring, thanks for being our neighbors and friends, and let’s keep trucking (and puzzling!) together. We got this.
