Wrapped up this school year with playing at a graduation 🎓 I’m taking a week off then teaching summer lessons 🎹
The Renaissance High School Class of 2024 music students handed me these beautiful flowers and a thank you card in class today 🥹 When we first met in the fall of 2020, we didn’t even know what we all looked like since a half of our faces were covered by the face mask 😷 As we spent more time together over the last four years, we formed such a special bond sharing the love of music 🎵 I will miss them but wish them the very best 💗

Inspirational lectures and performances help us grow as a teacher and a performer 🎶
One more concert tomorrow night 🎶 It’s been a long semester with so many performances, and I am really looking forward to my two weeks off until it starts all over again 🎵
The fall recital/concert season concluded last weekend 🎵 With no time to reflect on it, onto the “winter-themed” music selections every day 🎅
Two more days, and I feel 😱😱😱

She is waiting for her piano duo partner 😂 She needs to scoot over to Primo since I play Secondo 😝
It’s that time of year again 🎶 I have been told there are over 300 performers for this annual piano bash event this year 🤩
Teaching is leaning 😓 Playing the piano with small hands can be very challenging at times. Teaching a student with small hands to relax after reaching over, and I am re-evaluating my technique to play Rachmaninoff 😅
Refreshed after a fun filled mini vacation, here comes my summer project 🎵 First, I have to clip my fingernails 😆
Rehearsing for tomorrow’s concert 🎶
My piano studio’s spring recital was a success 👏
Happy Birthday to one and only Johannes Brahms 🥳 I often think of him and read through his pieces, and as frustrating at times it makes me love him even more 💗
End of the school year is approaching, and it’s time for many, many concerts and recitals😎
Our quartet has only been active since last autumn and we currently have no group name 🙄 Any suggestions? 😆
The best way to wake up the brain from the holiday food coma is to play”Bach” 😆
Sandy was not only my piano teacher but also a great mentor in my life ☺️ I miss her… 🥹

It was a full house event 🤩 The performers of all ages absolutely rocked it 🎶 Special thanks to the organizers and volunteers☺️
Dear Boise Tuesday Musicale--
Last Saturday evening, our musical community gathered together for a fun-filled evening of music otherwise known as our 12-Piano Monster Concert. On behalf of Boise Tuesday Musicale, I would like to thank Nona Haddock, Nadine Reece, and the entire committee for their labor of love in making this concert possible. It was a wonderful visual display with amazing decorations thanks to Bronwen Godfrey and her team. The music was beautifully done...thank you to our wonderful conductors and to our teacher for preparing the students so well. A special thank you to Maria Le who composed the string parts that added so much to our pieces. We also had our very own "Hollywood" premier that night as our own Jeremy Schrepple's arrangement of "Hooray for Hollywood" was performed for the first time! Thank you for this wonderful piece as it added so much to our concert.
It was so good to come together and have fun making music as a community! More information regarding money raised for our scholarships will be forthcoming. For now, I would encourage our membership to contact Nona, Nadine, and other members of the committee and express your appreciation for their efforts.
Congratulations to our team!
Sincerely,
Suzanne Haynes

Discovering Inspiration through Collaboration and Education
After earning my Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy and Performance Studies from the University of Idaho in 1995, I explored variety of non-music opportunities while raising my family. While I was teaching a small number of piano students, I focused on my career as a higher education and non-profit business professional. I always had a plan to go back to piano after retiring, and my recent job situation brought me here sooner than expected.
My services include piano instruction, accompanying, ensemble coaching, tutoring and advising. I am lucky to have so many family and friends who continue to inspire me and push me forward, and I am grateful for those who have supported me through my journey. I would like to inspire many people in return so they can find joy in their life through music and beyond.
