Launching, ‘Frank and Kash Community Hub’ in the heart of Oldham.
A physical space that can be used by any Public/Community based organisations in Oldham to deliver any services to our residents. Literally anything, that brings communities together, empowers people, activates youths, reduces social isolation.
The premises can be hired at nil costs by community based organisations.
Lots of big partners on board, who will assist to develop the site…this is a very exciting project.

It was our absolute pleasure to to be invited to meet the brilliant pupils and staffs at St Mathews School in Chadderton today.
Cllr Mohon Ali, Cabinet Member of Education & Skills and I was invited to talk about Ramadan, Eid and Zakat aspects of Islam.
The Children are a credit to the school and our community. We were impressed with their politeness, confidence in asking intelligent questions, and their knowledge of diversity and eagerness to learn more.
Looking forward to our next visit.

All 3 Candidates are in place for the May 2023 Local elections for the Chadderton Central Ward.
It is having been a privilege and honour to represent and serve our residents, and with your support we would like to continue to serve you.
The ward boundaries will also change, which we will detail and explain to our residents in due course.

It was great to do a joint walk around with Police in Chadderton North.
We provided community reassurance, speaking to residents, including young people about the area and issues affecting them.

A scout group based in Chadderton, was in need of a van to transport camping equipment for young people.
We approached one of our local business on their behalf, and was delighted that Jordan Group Ltd stepped forward and allowed the use of their van for the weekend. We thank them for their support.
The aim of scouting is to teach children ‘skills for life’, use initiative and develop leadership skills.
It was great to see the pictures of children enjoying themselves.

We are pleased as local councillors we have been able to influence Swansway Development(Volkswagen) to install gates on this section of Burnley Lane.
This should improve security, reduce fly tipping and be of beneficial to our residents and Volkswagen. We look forward to more co-operative/partnership working with our local businesses.
Thank you to our residents who have appreciated this, and it was great to personally distribute the gate keys.
