Baruc Labour
Your Labour candidates for the ward of Baruc in Barry for the May 2022 elections .
Morning all,
Thank you to all of the Baruc residents that went voting for us on Thursday. It was a great vote turnout but unfortunately not enough to vote out the incumbants.
However disappointing this is, it has given us the determination and strength to get ready for the next 5 years and continue working with our community.
If you want to be involved get in touch with Pierre or Emily [email protected]
Thank you again for turning out to vote for us. Until next time ๐น
We have visited every household in Baruc and we are ready to be your visible councillors for the next 5 years.

Pierre and I are so proud to be your Welsh Labour candidates for Baruc and incredibly proud of the work the Welsh Labour Government is doing to shape a fairer, greener stronger Wales.
To see how we would work to further this as your councillors, visit: https://valeofglamorgan.laboursites.org/manifesto/
Tomorrow is your chance to shape your local council and have your say about how decisions are made in your local area. This is your opportunity to vote for a councillor to join a committed Welsh Labour team which will work hand-in-hand with your Welsh Labour Government to make a real difference to the lives of people right across your community and across Wales.
When you go to the ballot box, vote for the issues that matter to you; for councillors you can rely on when things get tough; for councillors who will get things done. But most of all โ vote for what you value.
We need a strong Welsh Labour team in councils all over Wales; working with our talented Welsh Labour Members in the Senedd and in Parliament and our Welsh Labour Government. And, when the time comes, we need a Labour Government in Westminster.
There's been some change in the location of some polling stations. Find out where yours is with the link below:

Our plans for the next five years are ambitious. Our manifesto explains some of our plans, if elected for another term, and we will be sharing these plans with you over the coming weeks.
The pandemic has shown how fundamental communities are to our wellbeing, and that is why they are the foundation of all our future plans for the Vale.
Working together with you, we will put communities at the heart of our plans: providing good-quality education; employment opportunities and community facilities within easy reach of the home; and the transport network to connect our towns and villages together. All while tackling climate change and protecting our natural environment.
All of this can only be done with your support.
On Thursday 5th May, we are asking for your vote, so we can continue to build a stronger, fairer, greener Vale.
This is exactly why we need all of your votes in Baruc to return Labour councillors who will work hard for our area and deliver brilliant improvements like this
