Today we celebrate the female decision makers and those that support them: Administrator Allison Matson and her Executive Assistant Alise Coulter, Trustees Jen Kuhn and Nicole Strauts, Village Clerk Gigi Radcliffe, Deputy Clerk Sherry Davies, and Human Resources Coordinator Joan Rinaldi.

Happy Thanksgiving and thank you to all of our volunteers in Wauconda who make me so thankful to live in such a great town!

Great day golfing with my fellow Village of Wauconda trustees John Barbini and Tim Howe and employee Jeff Lowe at the Guns & Hoses Golf Outing!

I was honored to help serve breakfast to some of our sailors at the Wauconda Masonic Lodge #298 as well as walk in the Wauconda Memorial Day Parade with my fellow Village of Wauconda board members this past Monday! I’m proud to be part of such a great community! Thank you also to all of those who took part in the ceremony at Memorial Park, especially the Wauconda American Legion Post 911, the veterans present, Heather Moran, and especially our gold star families.

What a moving and beautiful presentation this past weekend! So honored to be part of such a wonderful community that recognizes the sacrifices our service men and women have made for our freedom. Hoping we continue this awesome program for years to come.

Had a great time at Wauconda’s Trunk or Treat event today put on by the Wauconda Park District, Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce, Wauconda High School Student Council, and National Honor Society! So great to see so many local businesses as well as the Wauconda Police Department, Wauconda Area Public Library, Wauconda Fire District, Wauconda Moose Lodge #1969, and our own Village of Wauconda Public Works!

So honored to be invited to the The 2021 Wauconda Police Awards Ceremony. Chief David Wermes and our full Wauconda Police Department did a wonderful job today recognizing our exceptional public servants and police. So blessed and proud to be part of a such a wonderful community!

Glad three great organizations are able to partner together to give the kids a great Halloween experience!

PLAN B! The Wauconda Park District and Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce are happy to piggy back with Wauconda Community Unit School District 118, and participate in Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 30th from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Presented by the Wauconda High School Student Council and National Honor Society. A great fundraiser as well for our Food Pantry and PADS.
