The International Flashmob organizers have canceled the event for this year due to the pandemic. Please check back in early 2022. Ojalá we’ll be able to dance again.
POSTPONED: Due to public health concerns regarding COVID-19 the Richmond edition of the Rueda de Casino Flashmob is postponed until a date to be determined. When a new date and time are set the information will be posted here.
International Rueda Flash Mob Richmond Calls – 28 March 2020
These are the calls we will be using
“Organizational” calls
Flaco – make the circle smaller
Gordo – make the circle larger
Tiempo – Switch timing (for when the music “flips” the 5 and 1, or the caller starts us off on the 5 instead of the 1)
These are moves that may be called. The intention is to stick with “standard” moves and avoid “proprietary” calls since this event involves two groups and is open to any casinero who wants to join in. If a leader doesn’t know a call, you can continue to do guapea and watch for a partner exchange.
