Lesson Through Bad Times

When things seem so hard that you wanna quit,
Think of all the great reasons why you started,
Think of all the efforts you have put in and
All the sacrifices made to actualize your plans.

Sometimes, the negative you go through in life
Teaches you to better appreciate the positive.
When you have no idea of the feeling of lack,
You may never appreciate enough when there's plenty.

It takes sadness to really appreciate genuine happiness,
It takes the discomfort of noise to appreciate decorum.
The absence of someone makes you value their presence,
And it takes loneliness to appreciate good company.

Failures may look so bad, hence dreaded by many,
But it eventually gives you steps towards success
And the agony felt with each phase of failure,
Makes you appreciate and value success's arrival.

So when things do not always go as planned,
It is not a time to throw in the towel and give up,
Rather, it is a time to reflect on the lessons learned
And apply them till your desired result births success.
