Delicate, soft, radiant makeup for the beautiful delicate colouring of . When you’re blond with very fair skin it’s easy to accidentally end up with makeup that’s wearing you instead of the other way around, which is definitely not want we want for any bride on her big day!

This beautiful bridal makeup look was created over two separate trials spread a few months apart. The best way to decide what’s going to look best is by trying things out, taking photos, seeing how you feel about it. This is why bridal makeup (and ideally any really important event) has a makeup trial in advance.

Milestone birthdays call for a major celebration! ✨🌟✨

Tess is an incredibly kind person who’s played a big role in my life over many years as part of the childcare program I used extensively when both my kiddos were young.

The saying - it takes a village - cannot be stressed enough when it comes to being a working mom. We can not do it all alone!

And on a side note Tess is a creative force herself, we have paintings and macramé art hanging in my daughter’s room from her AND she even designed her own party gown!

I was so happy to be able to help make Tess’s party extra special with some makeup magic. Happy birthday!!

The makeup look for the fashion show with featured rosy pink cheeks and fresh glowing skin inspired by a day outdoors in the fresh air and being on the ski hill. Perfect for Gogo Sweaters chunky hand knit sweaters and toques🎄🎿 (now available at ! )

I used lipstick in shade Saucy for a perfectly translucent flushed fuchsia pink cheek topped with liquid highlights on all high points of the face and of course all models skin was prepped with a generous spritz of I Dew and Mint Condition Balm✨✨

The show featured (just wait…. photos are coming!! 🤩), in support of providing grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that ALL kids aged 18 and under can play a season of sport. 🙌

Classic French makeup vibes for oh la la! 🇫🇷

Elongated eyes with a bold yet fine wing, a pale matte cream powder on lids with a matte soft grey through the outer crease.
Foxy style lashes placed further out on the lid helps to further play up the lifted, elongated eye.
Cheeks are radiant with a sweep of powder bronzer, bold pink cream blush and a touch of liquid highlight (shade Movie Star). All topped off with a confident bold brow and a soft natural lip.
Ready to hit the fashion runway with at ✨✨🙌

Attending the President’s Ball at definitely calls for some elevated makeup. ✨✨

Christiana wanted polished formal makeup to complement her black gown and silver accessories while still keeping the overall look fresh and glowing.

Choosing a softer n**e lip kept the focus on her stunning eyes (featuring Glamazon style lashes) and cheekbones, AND is wonderfully low maintenance …no red lip to monitor closely all night!

Congratulations to the happy bride Zina! Wearing a 1920’s style fully beaded gown we wanted to create a bridal look that felt glamorous and classic while staying fresh and modern. Soft black well blended smoky eyes at the outer corners, falsies in style Naturals, a touch of shimmer on the lid, and a creamy blush but no highlights anywhere else. Skin is fresh and dewy with just enough powder to make sure the look lasts for the big day. Beautiful! 😍 👰 💒

The power of a good red lip, instant chic… 💋

Congratulations 🥳 to Bobbie Racette founder of on being awarded the prestigious Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year Award by The Gustavson School of Business at

Racette was told “no” many times along her start-up journey. Today, more than 800 virtual assistants are part of the Virtual Gurus platform and Racette recently closed a successful $8.4 million Series A funding round, becoming the first Indigenous woman in Canada to do so. But when she was starting the company in 2017 with $300 and some help from her mom, more than 170 venture capitalists said “no” to her pitch. Instead of taking their advice and sidelining her personal values to appeal to traditional investors, she redoubled her commitment to her unique vision, and began pitching impact investors.

Corporate headshots can absolutely be professional and beautiful! After an unsuccessful DIY headshot attempt with a buddy from work where she felt washed out and couldn’t capture the right look (we’ve all been there!) Lynel got the pro team together: photographer, hair and makeup and now look at the results, a headshot to be proud of! And a fun creative shot tucked in because, hey, why not?! When you’ve already got a photographer and you’re already looking great I say absolutely tuck those extra fun photos in 🤩🙌

Bridal trial for ultra marathon runner Kiran. Natural looking yet flawless completion was our goal with radiant (but not sparkly!!) glowing cheeks. A soft smoky wing with half lash (style Naturals) for subtle drama and a lip pencil (shade Cameo), + Tinted Lip Balm (shade Prairie Rose) made for the perfect sheer plummy pink natural lip. Perfection! 💜💕💍

So honoured to have worked with as she prepares to launch her first solo album and brand new website. Kobra has an absolute heart of gold and an artists creative fire that burns bright, I can’t wait to experience what’s coming 💫

Two different looks for bride Stephanie, one deeper and more dramatic the other softer and more glowing. Both gorgeous options but the softer glowing version was the winning choice in the end ✨.

This is a perfect example of why makeup trials are so important. Not only is it a chance to ensure you click with your makeup provider, it’s also your time to play around a little and see what you actually look like with different shades and techniques. It can be hard to envision yourself in different makeup styles if you don’t typically wear much. (Ps Stephanie is wearing my Glamazon lashes in both looks, I love these lashes for brides).

Classic bridal party beauty!

This juicy pop of colour on the lips really suits our bridesmaid don’t you think? I used a liquid longwear formula to keep lip touch ups to a minimum. No one wants to be fussing with maintaining makeup on their best friends big day!

Wedding party makeup!

This season without a doubt the most requested look has been dewy sheer skin, soft pretty eyeshadows, minimal to no contour anywhere on the face, glowing creamy blush and soft pink lips.

The overall look is stunning, it’s a style of makeup that looks gorgeous on almost everyone. The exceptions being primarily based on condition of the skin. This look can be trickier for those with oilier skin or dealing with more pronounced breakouts.

Just before we all ease our way into relaxed summer mode we've got two final group makeup lessons on the June calendar with a few spots still available. If you know you're overdue for a refresh on your makeup routines and love learning in casual small group settings, these classes are for you!

First up is a special class for the younger gals just starting to play around with makeup (ages 10'ish-14'ish). The TEEN EDITION Basics Class is designed to support your young teen in how to apply age appropriate, minimal makeup. Which tools to use and how much product is necessary. Less is more is our basic philosophy while still maintaining the sparkle and fun magic of makeup! Parents are welcome to drop and come back, or pull up a spot on the couch to listen and learn.

'The Everyday Basics' Group Makeup Class will help you learn all the steps to a fresh and easy everyday makeup look! These are hands on style lessons, all brushes and products are provided so no need to bring anything along with you. Arrive wearing no makeup and leave wearing your new 5 minute daily makeup look.
