There is just something about this photo that gives me all the feels.

I'm pretty obsessed with skirts that twirl for days and this wedding dress was no exception. The layers picked up beautifully in the setting sun and I love how all of the layers filled it with golden sunlight!

Fit for a princess!

This gown was a quick make that I turned around in 5 days. It was pretty insane, but even though it wasn't perfect (was just a fun project for myself) it turned out beautiful and has so much character.

I love creating wedding gowns.

There is just something so special about the experience of creating the dress that a bride will probably wear on one of the most special days of their lives. To be a small part of that day in some capacity is one of the greatest joys!

It's a dress that makes you feel the most you, the most beautiful you have ever felt and enhances your radiance!

Creating something specific, unique and perfect to your personality is my goal when creating gowns! While they can tend to take the most time and effort, they are the most rewarding.

I spent a lot of time putting this together and made it into something I can share with those who ask for more info. I thought, to clear up any confusion on how this process works, I'd share it here!

THE PROCESS:
👉 Send me a dm! While I work on my website, the best way to put in an order or get my thoughts or a quote is to shoot me a dm to get started!

👉We will discuss what exactly you are looking for in your garment. Flowy dress with puffy sleeves? Long skirt with all the swoosh? A dress to walk down the aisle in and marry the love of your life? We get to talk shop and any pictures you can send me of what inspires you is always helpful!

👉Once we talk it out, I'll hand draw a sketch for you to make sure we are on the same page when it comes to design as well as price.

👉Last but not least, I'll get your measurements, shop for supplies and create the piece of your dreams!

Hey there!! I’m Victoria. I live in the lovely state of Michigan with my family and my sewing machines. 😉

📸 I started this business a few months ago as a way to offer custom created and designed clothing with YOU in mind, and I have loved every single piece I have created for each lovely person! I love bringing life and light to your wardrobe with a piece you absolutely adore and will wear again and again!

👴🏽 My favorite things to do include sewing, writing, or reading. I love literary characters and much of my fashion is inspired by the people I read about in books.

Now it’s your turn to tell me about you! Where in the world do you live and what’s the one movie you could watch over and over everyday? For me, I love the BBC version of Emma — which is a perfect film. 😍

I have an obsession with linen. It’s definitely a more expensive fabric, so I’ve never really splurged on myself. That being said, when the linen went on sale, I knew instantly that now was the time and I was going to create something special for myself. This skirt was the result and all of my dreams and wishes to become Anne of Green Gables were instantly granted. I was obsessed with it and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this item. It will be warm in the winter as it is fully lined and his color is just the loveliest warm brown color I’ve ever seen.

What outfit would you like to steal from a book or movie character?

I made this dress to represent freedom.

Last December I was able to participate with to raise awareness and funds to fight human trafficking. This is something I am incredibly passionate about and 10% of proceeds from this business always goes to help fight this evil in our world. It is something I am incredibly passionate about and I was so honored to create this dress and wear it as a proclamation of freedom and awareness for this great evil.

I had such an amazing time creating this gown and it is something that has come to mean a lot to me. There is something special about this first gown that I ever made. From the sleeves that are dramatic for days, to the long trailing skirt, to the striking color that to me has so much symbolism. This dress has opened up some doors to create gowns for others and was actually the catapult to me realizing that I could actually do this. Have you ever had anything custom made for you before?

I absolutely love when I create something outside of my wheelhouse and end up falling in love. I happened to enjoy a pink drink at Starbucks that day. You know what… don’t at me, but I’ve never had one before and I must say it was delicious! It was literally so good and I took it into the fabric store with me as I went shopping. It was such a lovely aesthetic moment, sipping my pink drink, strolling the aisles of fabric, perusing the shelves. I loved every minute of it but I definitely think my refreshing drink influenced my shopping because the minute I saw this pink gingham linen blend sitting on the shelf I don’t even remember deciding to buy it, it was just simply in my cart within seconds.

I had an idea for the style. I loved a yellow dress I had made for myself recently, but I knew I wanted to tweak the design a bit. I loved how it turned out and it’s absolutely one of my favorite dresses now! I almost never wear bubblegum pink, but this dress is just so charming and flattering and I’m obsessed!

It is now dubbed my pink drink dress and I couldn’t love it more!

Lemme guess, you struggle BIG time with finding clothes that fit right, look good, and make you feel amazing while wearing it?

Yep. I thought so. We all do at one point or another, right?

Between clothing that is made with a one size fits all, or for women with only one body type, to shopping for hours on end and only finding styles that are lame, or just don’t suit your taste and style, you just feel SO dang frustrated over it and frankly I don’t blame you.

I definitely struggled with finding clothes that I wanted to wear too. Every time I went to shop, I felt overwhelmed and frustrated at the amount of options, none of which fit with my personal style or taste. I just felt like I couldn’t find anything I liked!. Shopping for clothes was an epic failure making me feel frumpy, boring, and less than fashionable.

Until I finally figured out that I could make my own clothes to fit my body and my style that

completely changed everything for me. No really, it was a game changer.

I stopped trying to find my clothes at a clothing store.

Crazy right?! Where else are you supposed to find clothes?

I realized that if no one was going to sell clothes I liked or wanted to wear, then I was going to make it myself.

This lovely project should arrive at it's new home tomorrow! It was such a joy to bring a piece to a lovely lady who struggles to find clothing that fits her well.
