We have some big news! We were selected by the Greater Columbus Arts Council for a grant to assist us with recording costs. As many of you know we do this project for nothing more than an outlet for our creativity. We are incredibly proud of everything we have done, however costs do add up and this is a HUGE help to us to be able to record a few singles in the near future. We will be heading back to the studio in May to work on some more songs, until them check out the GCAC and give them a follow. Thanks again Columbus Arts Council for all you do!!
One week ago we released a new single, so naturally to celebrate I bought a new pedal…. BUT this one is by a local Columbus builder and it’s nasty Roland bee baa fuzz clone with some added functionality. It’s sputters, and it sounds massive and I love it, head over there and check out all their offerings!

2022, we got some new things cookin in the kitchen 🔥🔥
It’s been awhile since I’ve had time to make a video, then I saw the contest and thought it would be a great time to get back into writing. This set up is a bit more complicated, we have the OP1 by running through a dot chaser and diving bell into a big sky. Then we have a infinity looper synced via midi to the op1 (btw the best midi sync looper I’ve ever used) that is looping the guitar through a dig. Finally playing some lead through and micro freak into a super pulsar and mood to make it weird.
Honestly I could see this being a live rig… I had a ton of fun with this and I want to do so much more
Today’s the days (iso)lation is in all streaming platforms. The more I listen to these tracks the more proud I am of them, thanks to everyone involved, we truly worked with some of the most talented people I know. 👇👇

What a few months we’ve had, Trudi and I bought and sold a home and have been tirelessly working on fixing up our new house. It’s been a blast to see our new home come to life but it’s also been exhausting, so sorry we haven’t had an update for awhile. HOWEVER we have another new single dropping THIS WEEK on April 16th! We have some BIG NEWS 🎉🎉 throughout 2020 we decided to start a project that we never thought possible, we began writing, recording and producing an EP entirely from our home. With the help of our friends, and our incredible musical partners that wish finally came true. Over the course of the coming months we will be releasing new singles that will all wrap into our debut EP titled (iso)lation. We are incredibly proud of the songs we’ve recorded and feel they truly helped us get through our own isolations over the course of 2020. Follow along to get more information of our upcoming releases ✌️
Today we are messing with the d-05 and the digitakt. Using the sequencer of the D-05 we are punching different beats and samples in and out and I love the outcome.

90% of my music writing comes from messing with gear, I absolutely love getting my hands dirty with pedals, synths, amps, guitars, anything that sparks inspiration. I’ve been blessed with a community of creatives that encourage and educate me on different sounds and constantly push me to create noise. I’m very happy to announce Speak Seldom Sounds, a place for experimentation and ideas. The whole idea is this, take that 90% of the writing and experimentation and record it, no matter the outcome. The idea is just simple quick ideas, nothing polished, nothing perfect, and allow the space for questions and to share the workflow of the idea. I hope to take some of these ideas and expand them into more tracks, maybe even resample some things.... posts will be coming out weekly starting tomorrow 👾
