My favourite! The Heart Meridian 🤍 Partnered with The Small Intestine Meridian, in the fire element.
The Heart Meridian is so important as it rules more than just the Heart - It also regulates the Circulatory System, Blood, Pericardium, Small Intestine, Tongue, Speech, Triple Burner, Face and Facial Expressions.

The Heart LOVES:
Medition & self reflection 🧘🏽‍♂️
A simple diet 🥗
Dream recalling 💭
Connection to one’s dream 🔮
Journalling emotions 📖
Nourishing environment 🪴

The Heart does not love:
Distraction 🥸
Excess spicy foods 🌶
Unclear direction 🌫
Lack of love in an environment 🤬
Sugars🍬

In TCM The Small Intestine Meridian’s role can be described as sorting the pure from the impure.
Clearing the Small Intestine Meridian can improve mental clarity, calm the spirit, and support digestion and gut health.
Everything we eat and drink passes through the Small Intestine and is transformed and sorted out through the process of digestion. Nutrients are absorbed into the blood and waste is eliminated.

To make sure you’re taking care of your Small Intestine, avoid GMO foods, 🍟 excessive consumption spicy 🔥 or cold 🥶 food and antibiotics 💊

Partnered with The Bladder Meridian is The Kidney Meridian within the Water Element. Chinese Medicine views the Kidneys as the source of the body’s yin and yang, the “congenital root” or the origin of life.

The Kidneys responds well to:
- Relaxing 😴
- Moderation in all things 🏋🏼‍♀️🥳
- Respecting & accepting normal fluctuations in energy levels 📈
- Gentleness 🍃

The Kidneys do not like:
- ‘Work hard, play hard’ 😤
- Caffeine ☕️
- Sugar 🍭
- Longstanding fearful environments 😰

In TCM, The Bladder Meridian is called the ‘Minister of the Reservoir’. It is responsible for storing and excreting the urinary waste fluids passed down from the kidneys.  It is the Yang partner of the Yin Kidneys, associated with the element of Water. 🌀

The Bladder Meridian LOVES:
Veggies & fruits! Broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, watermelon, bananas, just to name a few! 🍉
Lots of good quality water💧
Taking time to relax and unwind 🏝
An alkaline diet
Himalayan salts 🧂
Kinesiology balances with me! 🥰

The Bladder will be affected by:
Extended periods of fear/anxiety 😱
Dehydration 🥵
Heavy Metal exposure 📏
Acidic processed foods such as sweets, alcohol and gluten 🍻
