Update! Update! Update!
**************************
To begin with, I cordially, would like to update the general public on the services delivery to Aweil students in the university of Bahr-El-Ghazal-Wau.
Our real leadership means tackling tough problems ourselves and not leaving them to our students and we prioritize the drastic change in our association to the acceptable level.
The executive body led by Mr. William Chan Akuei that always keep monitoring and evaluate the challenges facing the students in the hostels has made another good decision.
This morning the committee headed by Yel Anguei Deng secretary general for ASA-UBG went to the market and purchased food commodities as additional to the previous food items that were being bought. These include,
1. Bags of pulses 25kgs =6
2. Veritable oil =1
3. Bags of charcoal =3.
These are the additional food items to the recent food stuffs.
NB: Mr. Akuei the chairperson pitying and feelingly said some words of encouragement that, never let the hard times break you. Be strengthened by the adverse circumstances you are going through and allow yourself to gain from these experiences.
He also added that, being positive in the hard times of life will help you to overcomes it sooner and effectively than being negative about it.
The executive body is working hand in hand by planning, organizing, leading and controlling the good system for accountability, transparency and unity.
The students welfare and practising good governance is our priority.

El Ghazal University
ASA _UBG provides food items for its students.
The feeding program is on going.
Aweil Students Association in University of Bhar El Ghazal has distributed food items for its students who are residing in hostels due to the lack of feeding at the University this year.
Over 300 students received a great support from the leadership of their association on 30th September up to date.
The Students have appreciated the chairman Mr. Chan Akuei and his team for the hardwork in shortest time.
Read the full text of an interview with Secretary General, Yel Anguei Deng on this issue.....................................
I would like to introduce myself to the readers/listeners, I am by name Yel Anguei Deng, Secretary General for ASA_UBG, I would also like to appreciate Your Voice News for always sharing our voice with the public and Aweil community as well.
We have been in the leadership for almost six months and we have passed through some challenges but luckily we've made some vital achievements, even though they are not too many, in fact it's not that easy but we tried at least to do something small and Students are enjoying it right now.
We provided some tangible things.
These are ; sports attires and food items, these are ones of our objectives.
Since the resumption of the university, we don't have feeding from contracted company, which has been contracted by the government to provide food for students.
So, and for that reason, as a leadership, we provide some food for Aweil Students in the university in various hostels namely ;John Garang, Shoda, and girls' hostels.
We started on 30th September and we are going to do more of which the students expect us to do.
On the issue of raising funds, we have gone through a lot of travels since we left the university, me and my chairperson plus executive members we categorized ourselves into three groups. There was a team that went to Aweil, and a team that was left here in Wau, and a team that went to Juba.
Actually, they have got some little things.
Government has really supported us with materials and finance.
Students are very happy for the work we've done according to the reports that come to us from three hostels since we started this feeding program.
My last message to Aweil community who are residing in various places, in Juba, in Awiel or outside the country;
I am humbly requesting them to help our body because one hand can be clapped as an old saying goes.
I request them to help us financially or any other support because;without any support from our people, we can't afford to provide food for students.
And this little food we have now was given to us by our state Governor, and we might be running out of it very soon.
So, for Aweil Sons and daughters who are residing in Juba or abroad or anywhere we kindly ask them to give us their hands.
Thanks.
Dear public!
____________
I would like to request y'all as my brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers in Christ Jesus to offer your prayers for my uncle Yel Alou Ngor, as he's now in critical condition with liver disease because the bile is stopped providing the liquid in any food that he eats.
But so long as there's Power of the Lord, then I sincerely hope that God will appear on his sleeping bed this night with his loving kindness and tender mercies to get recovery as soon as possible.
It's indeed a very serious sickness that would of course require money so that he should be taken to the other big Hospitals like Khartoum or Juba but there's no enough money that's contributed currently. but our Lord always answer whatever we request from him, so let's all pray for him to see the goodness of the Lord in his life and he will also praise him and accept him as his lifesaver.
May God turn his illness to wellness and all the losses to profits.
And thank y'all 🙏
