"...starting with 'Golden Crown', the four tracks that follow bring a good dose of progressive with numerous changes of atmosphere alternating different styles between rock and metal, each title taking the time to unfold sung parts with artists who masterfully interpret this opera, the instrumental sections bringing, here and there, very beautiful guitar solos. The symphonic side is also present in small touches, the best examples being the short 'We Are Weak' or the second part of 'Change of Heart'. As for the melodic side, who could resist the finale of 'The Crucible' with its addictive chorus which is a model of the genre, or the equally addictive chorus of Ultimatum' which gives me goosebumps, and I could almost name them all the titles because it is really one of the strong points of this opera. In the end, what emerges is a dense and rich work which necessarily requires several listenings to fully master it, and when we arrive at the end of our first part of the journey (hoping that the rest will be near), we leave with shivers throughout the body with 'The Book Of Life' which is an irresistible ballad in which 'Lee Lemperle' offers us a magnificent vocal performance and moves us to tears both musically and with her moving lyrics."

We want to specially thank our friends from Italy for making "Golden Crown" such a special song to us. In this part of the album, the main characters meet in Rome at a palace ballroom. "The Crucible" title track is one of the most played songs on the album right now, even sitting at a little over 8 minutes long. Michael Drive-Official, Lee Lemperle Music, and DC Cooper deliver some stunning vocals! We named the album after this song for a reason. It's got WAR, it's got mass destruction due to a meteor/s, it's got a revolution using that destruction as a means to take over the world due to fear. The song is not pretty by any means although DC's singing over some keys on the intro may lead you to believe it is:
"The horizon begins to tear...the axis bends, the stars fall....Billions will die as we prepare..." 😱😱😱

Doesn't Christian Liljegren play such an interesting villain? He sings a lot of positive and upbeat metal on Narnia, it was cool to see him take on the dark persona of "Casimir". The political mouth-piece of Jude Solomon and his new roman empire.

I did want to post this and let everyone know that we have copies of Harpazo with Laser CD (USA). I don't know how many copies they have but it was good to find a source outside of our bandcamp for the USA. For those of you who haven't ordered, check out their website!
