This week I am creating 6 new dye mixes.
mixing 2 of them today as I have a dye order arriving tomorrow, we will see if I have a talent with mixing colors...I am so excited to see the results.

For the last 2 weeks I have been so busy filling all of my orders With events back-to-back That I haven't even realized what day it was... 2 years ago on August 3rd We lost my brother-in-law and my lifelong friend Who was the other half of 🔥 and 🧊 Dye Co.... He passed before we could make it a reality... In this photo is one of the shirts I made for his celebration of life for everyone who attended... My last conversation with him I was About dye colors that I was ordering I was stuck behind a train crossing the road cause I hate talking on the phone while driving ... I thank God everyday for that train...He was coming back to Iowa on August 5th but God had other plans my heart ❤️ is still heavy...I know he would have loved this shirt..
As the heart represents the love he had for life... The rings around the whole shirt was Representing all of the people In his life that were affected by his kindness and love for life... And the rays between in the shirt that is blank represent his path to heaven...and now you know the history of how Fire & Ice began...this design is retired as it was made special for Don.

These two shirts are samples I created for a small business in Iowa.

You gotta love Hy-vee in Iowa as they have The United States Post Office in their grocery stores... It has brought me so much joy to be welcomed into your small community just like the one I grew up in. I have met so many wonderful people from your community I Thank You again.

I had a productive weekend testing out 4 color blends and selecting the top performers to move on to the next round of testing on shirts and hoodies. I'm eager to hear your feedback on which ones you like best, so please rank them 1-5, with 1 being the best and 5 being the least favorite.

About 4 days ago 2 nights in a row I could not sleep at all... It's kinda normal for people who've had a stroke and mine has only been 6 months ago.
For the last 3 weeks I have been making shirts no stop. I always have color combinations going through my thoughts. So during the middle of the night I am up jotting down color combinations... This is my results from me trying to be a mixologist... I am very pleased with my color combo I'm calling this one glacier's ridge. I have mixed up 7 more dye combos gave them all names but don't know if their names will stick or if they will even turn out so stay tune I will be dying them in about a little over a week because I am still working on getting hoodies done this weekend for next weekend event.

After working 10 to12 hours a day for the last week I'm getting close to where I'm calling it done for this event that I'm doing at the end of July... Today I had help from my daughter and my husband to catch me up I've probably got about 36 more shirts to dye and a ton of sweatshirt... I am all caught up on my special orders and only 5 more days until my best friend of over 50 years arrives trying to finish up before she arrives ,I have a Iowa road trip planned for her AKA my Iowa bucket list ...

His and Hers St. Patrick's Day shirts Going Out in the mail tomorrow in time for the 17th.

Was working on new mystery colors today I think they're gonna turn out like a winner winner chicken dinner I think I'm pleased with what I see now we'll see you tomorrow but here is a sneak peak.

Finish a customer's order today I think this is my most favorite shirt yet.

Mystery colors on ice... Will post results When finished...well the results are in not my best work that why I called it a mystery... Last week my sister picked out this design and since I was in hospital for her Birthday it only fitting I gift her this sweatshirt ...

I have two new shirts to add to the mix of the old favorites. The 1st. Is St.Patricks the second Let Your Soul Shine... Making new shirts and designs has been so helpful to working my right hand...For now you can pm me any orders...will be adding more over the next few weeks.

Here it is framed...to me it represents being in two different worlds at the same time a glitch in my matrix.

10 days after my stroke I am back at it gotta get back on the horse unfortunately I had stoke and couldn't rinse out my northern lights attempts and it was ruined so I've been chomping at the bit to do it over and 30 minutes I can rinse out and this is were I am at have so far...will add final result in a couple of hours. Here's the outcome not exactly the northern lights but I super super like it and my husband is off to go buy me a frame I will show you it framed when it's done.

Update on my Northern Lights art... After a way over thinking everything I finally decided to move forward and just get it done... I decided to use snow hopefully to get a better flow... Did one under snow and 1 over snow With these cold temperatures that we have I probably will let it batch for 48 hours so I won't rinse it out if I can last that long Maybe not until Wednesday. If one of them turns out then I will move forward and add the milky way and glow in the dark paint so after framed in the daytime it'll be the northern lights and at night it'll just be the milky way... It's killing me I hope I can make it to the next 2 days without rinsing out I'm holding for the best positive outcome.

It is with so much joy that I am able to announce that I was able to purchase gift cards for families that are taking care of their loved ones with lung cancer in my brother-in-law's name...Thank you to all of my amazing customers ❤️

It has been my vision to recreate the northern lights with dye I I've talked about it for a while over a year and now I'm about ready to take a step on the wild side... It's taking me some time to figure out how I'm gonna do it so I can make the other colors bleed and the other I want it realistack and I also want to add an extra layer I use to paint stars on the ceilings That was so realistic you couldn't tell if you were inside or outside the paint is not visible In the daytime it only shows up in the dark so I wanna make a piece of artwork that you have the northern lights in the daytime and then when the lights go out you have the Milky Way and all the stars all-in-one piece so this week I'm gonna get it done I have figured out all the colors I want to use how I'm gonna dye it and I cannot wait to share the outcome with you...

As we get close to the end of 2023 I would like to thank all of my customers for all of your support and shopping small business...Can't wait to over deliver my creativity in 2024...Thank you so much for all of your business. All of last week special orders are done... And just when I thought I was caught up I ended up with 6 more orders so I will start on those on Monday.

It blows my mind what comes out in my shirts...our house was built in 1908 they just want me to know there still here...so fitting for October.

Getting ready to go live on my website Where you'll be able to order this shirt next week this shirt will be featured with social media influencers... I am starting out with 4 or 5 shirts up to order and will have the 4th of July shirts up....it's going to be a wild ride .

It blows my mind the faces that comes out in my stuff... Sometimes I think the ghosts in my house are trying to say something... The 1st one is a pair of shorts that I dyed Friday and the other is a hoodie I did last month.

My goodness how things can change in a day... Last week I took an order for 60 plus shirts for a family reunion in Missouri That needs to be done by the end of June... I had a store owner blowing up my phone wanting me to put my shirts in his shop I have a meeting on Wednesday for that... And also I have another meeting To discuss getting my stuff at the Iowa state fair...that has no sunk in yet... today was a happy day for me because I bought a commercial ice maker and It will be here next week this will help me so much keep up with the orders it's crazy... Also next week I have another event I'm still trying to work on my website So I can take orders but I'm taking orders anyway all you gotta do his message and me ...if you like my work please share it I so need my husband to quit his job and work with me..I Am Blessed
