I posted this yesterday in a hurry, but wanted to offer the story behind what inspired this week's mix.

"In honour of St. Patrick's Day 2018, I thought I would research Irish EDM producers and see what sort of sound was coming out of the Emerald Isle. What I discovered was a strong trance influence with the most popular producers creating pieces that stuck around the 140 bpm range. High energy! John Gibbons struck a chord with me with his housey/nu disco vibe with remixes of familiar stuff so I couldn't resist tapping him to kick the set off. Maybe it is a bit of a sore thumb choice, but hey, it's all in the play right?"
