It’s taken me a few days to get home and get settled to remember what we did last week. In a few rehearsals, 25 angelic voices came together and made magic of 16 songs. The 14th Annual winter concert was so lovely. Thanks to everyone who sang and attended the concert! Very grateful to for hosting us all these years. This is always a cherished time of the year for me and connects me to what I’ve loved since I was a child — singing with others!

appreciation post. TODAY is his birthday!! James is one of a kind. He is a deep feeler and thinker. He is incredibly talented and a patient teacher. I am lucky to get to spend so many days alongside him watching him grow and learn and continue to cultivate his curiosity. He is always pushing himself and I’m constantly inspired by his drive. Let’s celebrate James today and all the other beautiful souls born on this day. ❤️

The mundane act of folding laundry often finds me reaching me for my guitar to ponder some lyrics….anyone else?

I’ve mostly been a hermit for the last 2 months and haven’t been inspired to share anything on this promotion machine but here’s some proof of being alive the last 2 months and seeing wonderful people along the way. The last photo is the delicious carrot cake baked oatmeal I made on Easter with a beet frosting! I’m ALIVE people.

I think I’m late for but who gives a damn. Lately, I’ve been doing some dog sitting via Rover and for some friends to help with the loss of Reba. As fun (and sometimes frustrating) it has been, there is nothing like the strong bond and attachment you have with your own pet. None of these short term dogs are filling that hole. She was a special dog. I’ll miss Reba forever and know that I’ll love another dog some day that I’ll love but in the meantime, send me your dogs! 🐶

It’s been a great couple of weeks (mostly) off the ‘gram. Spent NYE at home with friends playing our brand of the game celebrity. Also, I got gifted a SCOBY from .mabilene and my first batch of Kombucha will be ready this weekend! Hello 2023 babies….

On a separate end of year note on this winter solstice before I sign off until the new year... if you came to a show of mine this year, if you bought & supported my music, if you listened on a streaming platform or on the radio, thank you. I am lucky to have the opportunity to pursue my original music though it is genuinely not a real source of income for me. If you know me, I have lots of irons in the fire that keep me afloat and anything leftover, I personally invest in my own music choosing personal fulfillment over something responsible like saving for a house down payment or the like. I am lucky to be able to do that….so if you’ve supported my music in any way this year, I am so grateful. There are so many artists you could choose to support. I wish you all a healthy and happy holiday season. If you’re struggling this time of year, you’re not alone. I’ve been fighting the blues myself and grieving the loss of my sweet pup Reba, but in this moment of reflection as I look back on everything I’ve done this year, I’m proud of all the things I accomplished and got to do and I hope you can find time to reflect on the good things from this past year.
