Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) is a 4 year course in semester based system. The BHM course is both theoretical and practical in nature. BHM course includes regular internship opportunities and job placement during the study period. From this, we can assume how big the prospect of BHM is in the job market

There are various universities that offer this course but mainly Tribhuwan University and Pokhara University are highly popular.

𝐅𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞:

The average fee structure of TU BHM course lies in between NRs. 6,00,000 – Rs 7,00,000. The fee structure of college varies from one another. For authentic confirmation of the fee structure, one can contact campus administration.

* At first, compare the fee structure and know about scholarship system. How they provide scholarships? What are various criteria to get those scholarships? What if you have a good result at board exams ? Some colleges often provide scholarships or give awards at your good results in exam. For example: UNcollege Dharan provides sum of money as a award for being Dharan Topper, Province Topper and Board Topper.

* Next, know about practical systems: How good and well equipped there practical labs are? How frequently they do conduct practicals?

* Industry Exposure: Do they make tour or visit of industry like 5 star hotel, 4 star hotel etc? If yes, how often they do? Most of the college make visit of at-least one hotel each semester.

*Job Placement and Internship: Do they guarantee internship placement? Also, some college provide environment of jobs while continuing jobs also. So know what are there promises regarding this?
