Our new album 'Octava' is out now! It's so great to have this music out in the world, it means a lot to me.
This album is about change and evolution to a higher version of ourselves. Understanding this journey through the idea of ascending a musical scale and arriving at a new, higher octave is natural especially for a musician. We move, struggle, and work through the various steps or tones and arrive at the octave a new version of ourselves, still the same person, but vibrating at a higher frequency.

This is the band that brings Phi-Psonics’ music to life on ‘Octava’ and our debut ‘The Cradle’. Mitchell Yoshida on keys, Sylvain Carton on woodwinds, and Josh Collazo on drums. I’m fortunate to have such stellar musicians and humans add their talents and spirit to my music. It wouldn’t be possible without their contributions. Sylvain and I met back in our San Francisco days and now he is bringing unique, beautiful tones and feeling to the band with his many flutes and saxes. Josh and I have been playing as a rhythm section for over a dozen years and have played on as many records together, he brings a thoughtful swing and composer’s ear to the band. Mitchell and I have played for over ten years and travelled the world together, he has a world of ideas and an incredible ability to add them to whatever he is playing.
