Swipe to see the 5 stages. Credit given to my coach .vieraa_ for providing the stages I discuss here! I just think it’s such a good way for online coaches and consultants to understand where they are and where they are going when it comes to business development.

For all of you who are considering hiring someone but feel trapped by your inability to take action, here are some tips for overcoming the mental blocks that might be holding you back.
I can't afford it. With the rise of the gig economy thanks in part to things like the great resignation it's never been easier to hire help. If I were to make a recommendation on who to hire first, I'd recommend a Marketing VA who can help you with content creation, social media management, and outreach. There are companies out their like 'Doer's Way' that have a flat fee per month to help you with these types of resources and they train and onboard them for you.
It's easier for me to do it myself. This is probably true! But what if the idea was that there are definitely things that can be delegated and doesn't require your personal touch. It's time to let go of your perfectionist tendencies and learn to let other people do their jobs. The things that you delegate will free up your time and help you focus on what matters most and requires your unique approach.
I'm too busy to train someone and fix their mistakes. It's important to find people who are good at what they do and let them have freedom to do their job. Clear performance metrics and guidelines on how progress will be measured & communicated and an open-door policy to discuss any issues that arise will help build trust and improve the quality of work. Before you hire make sure you have them complete pre hire assignments to test their knowledge and skill sets. I also like to recommend completing personality and strength assessments like Kolbe, Enneagram and DISC so that you can learn more about the person's perspective and how they will fit into your culture.
If you are ready to take the next step and want help building your team, then I recommend downloading my toolkit called Building Small But Mighty Teams. The toolkit comes with more than 100 templates, swipe files and sop's that can be copied into your business to help you build a team faster, more efficiently—with less headaches. And it's only $27! Many new leaders struggle to create a clear and compelling leadership brand. It's hard to stand out. You want to be unique, but you also want people to understand who you are and why they should follow you.
The best way to do this is by developing a clear leadership brand that is based on your values and who you are as a person. When your team sees the way you lead through your values, they'll be able to see how they can do the same thing—and they'll know how important it is for them to do so because it's important to you.
A clear leadership brand will not only help differentiate you from other leaders; but by using a value-based approach it will serve as an internal compass helping you make better decisions and have a better sense of direction.
Event is Oct 27th at 10:30 AM.
