It is with a heavy heart to pass along the news of our dear friend Lobo. Today his journey with us has come to an end. I know his next one will be every bit as exciting and filled with more love than others could ever imagine. He was born December 15, 2008, and found his way into my life towards the end of 2009. Lobo was the gentlest soul with a calmness I have never experienced before. If you were to describe his personality so many things come to mind. He had the memory of an elephant, the love of the biggest teddy bear, the protection of a wolf, he was always the sheriff protecting the victim, but most of all he moved and acted like Eeyore. From the first time I met him until today I called him my old man.
Lobo loved road trips and was always the first one into the truck. From a simple ride to the store to a cross-country trip, he never missed a chance to go on a journey. Lobo had an amazing gift to be able to touch every life he came across. In 2012 he was my first employee as the door greater for Albuquerque Exotic Woods. He quickly rose to the rank of store manager, specializing in customer relations. Over many years he touched thousands of lives, for the better. Several customers only came to visit Lobo, not necessarily to shop. His best friends always had treats. From playing hide and seek with Jack to performing tricks for Susan, he always had customers’ best interest in mind.
Thank you to all the people who supported him and allowed him into your hearts. My friend will be missed, and his memories will be celebrated by all. Enjoy your next ride my friend.

A couple more examples using the Fuchsite. I love this stuff. Even with using just the medium you get a nice even fill in, as you can see with the B. The P was done using just fine Fuchsite.
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a great weekend.
I will be out of the office today but I will return this evening to check social media and messages.
Have no fear though, Jake will still be accepting and processing orders as usual.

Playing with some more inlay on some practice pieces.
Green fuchsite looks amazing!
Happy Friday everyone! Enjoy your weekend!
You can choose a single inlay for your project or multiple to achieve a desired effect. For instance, these pendants were made from a single piece of redwood burl. This piece had a crack right down the middle so 4 types of stone were used to get a graduated color change through out the piece so each pendant had 2 colors going through it.
