I just tried to mow the rows and the bushes are too loaded with berries. I did mow the path around the field. So please wear closed toe and pants or what you need for blackberry protection.

It's getting close, had the first ripe one today. Looking like the end of the month to have enough to pick. I will post more pictures soon. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Berries are coming in nicely, but unfortunately they all ripened at the same time this year. So ALL the bushes are loaded. It will be a quick season. It's looking like the middle of July for them to ripen. I will update as we get closer.

First of two spring pot luck work parties.... April first. This will be coordinated with my birthday party. This will start as early as 11 am... Bring tools, saws, 4x4's...

As for now I will be doing at least two work parties this spring and early summer. The first one will be at the beginning of April if the snow is gone in the Blueberries removing black berries and broken branches. Opening up rows and the second one will be for firewood... I am working on logistics where we can gather and cut wood. I will put together events when I have the dates figured out. I hope everyone is doing well this winter.
