As many of you may know, Lauries daughter Morgan is one of our TCAPP kids and she bravely fights each day against a myriad of rare and complex medical conditions. Life for medically complex families is unpredictable day to day and can be very overwhelming when physicians are not able to treat or cure. To give you some more information about The Coalition Against Pediatric Pain and the work that they do, check out their website. TCAPP supports kids with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Mitochondrial disease, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Dysautonomia, POTS, Gastroparesis, MALS, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, CSF leaks and other rare and complicated conditions that sadly do not have a lot of awareness and certainly no large fundraising non profits behind them. So thank you for supporting this fundraiser to help medically complex kids living with pain. The color of wine can tell you a lot about the wine you are about to enjoy. The color comes from contact with the grape skins after the grapes have been juiced. The longer the wine comes in contact with those skins, the more those skins will impart their color and unique flavors on the wine. Aging is another factor that impacts the color. Oak can make colors lighter or darker depending on how long the wine is aged in the barrel. The lighter the wine, the less oakey it will be.
