Tears of deep gratitude flow through my being as memories of our time together brighten my heart & leave me in awe of how precious life is.

The ways our soul friendship opened me & enhanced my mystical journey is beyond words. Especially from 2008 until I moved to Maui in 2012, our shared time was life-changing ~ a profound & precious gift.

But my favorite memory with you David PA was in May 2012 when I arrived back to LA after Maharaji had catapulted me to Maui to meet Ram Dass, and I had learned atop Prayer Rock in Kanaiao through a clear vision that Maui was my new hOMe. I got out of my airport shuttle at Philippo's house at 7am after a red-eye flight and when I walked in you were standing in P's kitchen with a twinkle in your eye and said, "Heyyyy Amulya Maa I just made some chai, you wanna have a cup and tell me all about your time on Maui???" ❤ ❤ ❤

David, you shared the big LOVE effortlessly on a huge & generous scale with everyone open to it. How blessed we all are that your Love lives on through our hearts.

❤ We began a 40-day silent* retreat** today, in which we’ll be doing copious amounts of Vipassana meditation.
❤ Our silent retreat will end on Holi 🙂
Holi is a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colors, Love, and Spring. It celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna. This year it lands on Sunday, March 24, 2024 ~ which coincidentally is Day 40 of our retreat.

* we will break our silence for client sessions and also for basic communication required to maintain our livelihood

❤ (btw) VALENTINES DAY is our 5yr anniversary of when Baba moved in with me so it’s an extra special day for us. On Feb 13, 2019 we cuddled-up together all night in a warm womb of wool while a cold, wet, windy & muddy mess ensued during torrential tropical rains at a friend’s cabin in Huelo, Maui. When we woke at the brink of dawn Baba ceremonially wrapped my naked body in his Tibetan prayer shawl & joyously proclaimed “it’s our honeymoon!” (we had been courting the moment for a couple months) 🙂 We headed to the altar to sing 11 Hanuman Chalisas and afterwards we packed all Baba’s stuff back into the car & drove up Haleakala to my cottage to officially dive into the depths of this awe-inspiring 24/7 Ta***ic Love connection 🙂 (we are writing the book!)
❤ Grateful to share our JOY today as we walk each other hOMe ~ Giving thanks for this amazing journey of healing, transformation & liberation.

Compassionate Eating ❤ Baba Bhagavan Das & I are now VEGAN and loving it 🙂

❤ on Thanksgiving we were gifted a ‘pre-dressed’ turkey prepared by the #1 chef in Milwaukee. We popped it in the oven for 4 hours & voila!

❤ when I grabbed the chef’s knife to cut the 1st leg off, my heart wrenched with pain. Tears flowed down my cheeks. I stopped cutting.

❤ A memory of myself meditating by a tree at Harbin Hot Springs decades ago surfaced. 3 *living* turkeys were dancing all around me. As I deepened into my meditation, they joined me 🙂 Then many more sacred memories with animals came to heart.

❤ I called Baba to the kitchen & said “I can’t. I’m not eating animals anymore. No ‘meat’ no fish no dairy no eggs, I’m done.”

❤ Baba said “Ok me neither. I’ll eat with you.” A first for Baba in 78 yrs of living!

❤ I was vegan in my 20s for a few years & vegetarian for much of my life. And, I’ve been vegan most of 2023 again, since having a similar emotional response earlier this year with some homemade Italian meatballs.

❤ we are both ECSTATIC with the benefits. We feel it’s the best thing humans can do for optimal health, animal wellbeing, the global planetary crisis (on many levels), clarity of consciousness & to cultivate non-harming

❤ Baba never knew Bodhi could sing until they moved into my Maui cottage with me. While I was offering a Craniosacral Therapy session, I sang an ancient Hawaiian Chant invocation - and while doing so, BODHI spontaneously jumped up on the massage table, put his paws on the client and began WOOing along with me!

Baba Bhagavan Das and I have been feeling deep sadness, shedding tears and at times we are speechless as we integrate the horrendous loss, pain & suffering of those in the Gaza Strip. The ripple effects of terrorism, war and outrage are palpable. No doubt all beings around the globe are negatively affected by these atrocities to varying degrees.

It’s times like these when the rubber hits the road with the timeless teachings of universal oneness, compassion, wisdom and highest love.

Prayer is powerful & essential. But beyond prayer, what more can we do? Are we practicing patience, peace and kindness in our own lives? Witnessing the destructive effects of animosity ‘out there’ encourages us to resolve the ways divisiveness plays out in our own lives.

On Friday the 13th of the October dark moon during our Grand Illumination retreat, we lit our first fire of the dark season. As we stoked the fire with kindling & mantra, we called in and burned the elements of conflict and chaos that arose to be purified within our own hearts.

We were delighted to see a large blue orb appear above my head in the second photo. We took a brief video and there were orbs flying all around our living room that night! No wonder our 3 cats Luna, Asha & Gita were glancing all around the room.

Our prayers continue to flow forth for a grand illumination of all hearts.
May we each do our part to practice peace in our daily lives.
There is always further to go!
