🌟We had a wonderful Farsi fellowship meeting on Sunday. Attendance remains steady, and we're grateful to God for His provision in making these gatherings possible.

The adults explored Romans 12:1-2, emphasizing the importance of not conforming to the world’s values. As new creations in Christ, we should adopt His mindset, renew our thoughts through the scriptures, and view life’s issues through the lens of the Bible. We discussed the importance of maintaining a daily relationship with the Lord through scripture reading and devotion. We also talked about how our old sinful nature, the world, and Satan will try to hinder our faith growth, and how crucial it is to know the Lord and His promises through His word.

The children learned about God's promises and His love, creating stars to illustrate their understanding of His faithfulness. ⭐❤️

The food was superb - thanks to our amazing hospitality team. 🍽️

It was a blessed time for all of us.

✨On Friday, we experienced a wonderful time of fellowship. Although we anticipated around 15 guests, we were delighted to welcome over 27, including 4 children!

After a delicious meal, about 20 people gathered for the Hamdam course. We explored Genesis 2, discussing how and why God created Adam and Eve. We also examined Genesis 3, focusing on the Fall and understanding how and why Adam and Eve rebelled against God, as well as briefly touching on the immediate effects of the fall on their lives.

In our next session, we will delve deeper into the consequences of rebelling against God. We will also explore human remedies for this problem and, more importantly, God's solution.

🙏 Pray for wisdom and understanding as we study God's Word. May He open our hearts and minds to grasp the depth of His love and the significance of His redemptive plan for humanity. ✝️❤️

This Sunday, our Farsi Fellowship will gather to explore the powerful topic: "Renewing our minds God’s way". Through Romans 12:2, we’ll uncover how aligning our thoughts with God’s truth helps us break free from the world's influence and live in true freedom. ✝️

As always, we will share fellowship over a delicious home-cooked Persian meal. 🍲💖

📬✨ Though A*** can no longer attend our classes because he has moved away, we're always delighted to receive heartfelt messages from him and other students.

Our monthly Scripture verse cards are a small way to remind them that they are always in our thoughts and prayers.

Just as Jesus loves and cares for each of us, we strive to show that same love and care to our students, no matter where life takes them.

A***’s words touched our hearts:
“God knows how happy and surprised I was with this very beautiful card. I cried so much. Thank God that I have such a good family. Thank you and I hope to come back and see you as soon as possible. Say hello all my classmates on my behalf.”

This connection is a reminder of the strong, supportive community we've built together.

📚✨ One of our English class students, who regularly attends our Bible study, requested a Bible in her own language, Japanese. We were delighted to gift her one. She sent this us this message:

“Thank you for my Japanese Bible. When I feel unsettled, I read the Bible to help me stay positive.” 🙏📖

Her journey towards faith and dedication to exploring God's Word remind us of the power it holds to bring peace and hope into our lives. We are so blessed to witness her spiritual journey unfolding! 🌟✝️

✨Pray for her heart to be open and receptive to the message of Jesus Christ as she explores her faith journey.

✨We are grateful to God for yesterday's Farsi Fellowship meeting, where we had the privilege of sharing the Gospel in the native language of Farsi-speakers.

Everyone listened attentively to the message which focused on Ephesians 4:11-24, exploring God’s purpose in salvation and the transformative journey towards becoming more like Jesus. The message highlighted how God appoints pastors, evangelists, and missionaries with gifts such as teaching and prayer to build up believers for God's glory. Its emphasised God's desire for believers to grow in Christlikeness through the ongoing process of sanctification.

Complementary scriptures looked at were:
2 Corinthians 3:18, where Paul speaks of progressing "from glory to glory" in our journey to resemble Christ.
John 17:17, where Jesus prays for believers to grow in holiness through the truth of God's Word, emphasizing that our growth should be measured against Scripture rather than societal norms or personal feelings.

As usual, we wrapped up by sharing a delicious Persian meal over engaging conversations. 🍽️

🙏 Pray for unity and encouragement among our fellowship, that we may support one another in faith and love.

🙏 Pray for fruit from our gathering, that the seeds of truth planted yesterday may bear abundant fruit.

📣 Monthly Farsi Fellowship Meeting!

Please pray for our meeting this Sunday, where Farsi-speakers gather to hear the Gospel in their native language. We will also share delicious Persian food and enjoy fellowship together. 🙏❤️📖🍽️

We are heartened by the steadfast attendance, and we are especially encouraged as friends bring friends.

✨Pray that God's word will be preached with clarity and power, transforming lives.

✨Pray God will prepare and open hearts to receive His message.

✨Pray for the Holy Spirit to move powerfully among us, bringing healing, freedom, and encouragement.

✨Pray that many will make a decision to follow Christ and experience His love and grace.

✨Pray for the children, that they too will be ministered to and experience God’s love in a special way.

✨Pray for God's blessing on every aspect of the service, from the preaching to the fellowship.

We come expecting great things from God.

✨Farsi Friday 21st June 2024✨

Clare writes,
“Slowly we are ‘finding our feet’ with this new initiative. With the adults taken care of and fed into the hour-long Bible study my concern was how to engage the 9 (high spirited) children that had gathered in.
After multiple games and a sugar fix in the form of an ice-cream, I sensed strongly that I should tell them a Bible story (hadn’t prepared one). Gathering them all in a circle I was surprised that they knew a little about what the Bible was as all the kids were from a Muslim background. Equally my heart was warmed that they were intrigued with the story of Daniel & the multiple lessons to be learnt form his life.
Pray for us as we continue to sow seeds of Biblical truth into their lives.
Pray for Amir as he has started his Hamdam course again & that 25/30 that attend. May blind eyes be awakened to the Gospel.”

📚✨ As we wrap up another incredible academic year of English classes, we are filled with gratitude and joy! 🙏✨

We want to give thanks to God for His faithfulness and provision throughout this journey. His goodness has been evident in every moment, and we are blessed beyond measure.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful team for their dedication and hard work. And to each and every student, for their commitment and enthusiasm. God has been so good!

To celebrate the end of the teaching year, we have a picnic planned today! 🧺🌞 We look forward to enjoying this special time together. We will also be distributing a selection of Christian tracts to each student.

As we enter the summer season:

✨Pray for a blessed and restful time for both staff and students. May this be a period of renewal and joy for everyone.

✨Pray for those students who will be moving on. May God guide and protect them in their future endeavors.

✨Pray that as tracts are taken home, God’s Word will work powerfully in the hearts of those who receive them.

S*** lost her husband last year to cancer within an 11-month period. The pain of losing her life partner has been immense, leaving a void that's hard to fill.

To her, and many of our students, English classes are more than lessons; they’re a lifeline, connecting us like family.

S*** also attends our Bible studies, and when she asked for a Bible, we gladly gifted one to her.

🙏 Pray for comfort and strength for S*** as she continues to cope with the loss of her husband.

🙏 Pray for peace and healing for her heart and mind as she navigates this difficult journey.

🙏 Pray for continued support and community through her English classes, that they may be a source of joy and companionship.

🙏 Pray for enriching and enlightening Bible study sessions for S***, that she may find comfort, wisdom, and spiritual growth in God's Word.
